Im almost 40, been autistic my entire life, and for my first 30-35 years on this planet, people couldnt stand me, but in the last 5 years or so, its like suddenly people understand me, and ive felt way more like i fit in everywhere i go, even in groups of people who use to be turbo normies has the combination of everyone becoming addicted to phones, combined with the lockdowns a few years ago, make everyone kinda autistic? I cant explain it in detail but there is a feeling in the air that like, people are way less judging of muh autism now than they were before, seems like everyone social skills has become so bad that i guess i no longer stick out like a sore thumb in that regard? perhaps its that.
another aspect is, "autistic" opinions ive held for 10-20 years, suddenly have become something normies are starting to understand and agree with too, so like i dont have to mask what i say anywhere near as much, and instead of being blasted by normies for saying something that goes against their NPC programming, they're way more open minded
