I like the idea of opening up my bible to a random page in the New Testament and based my service on that. Today I flipped to Acts 26:12-23. The story of Paul's conversion, and I'm feeling really good about this one because this is legit one of my favorite stories int he bible and I'm really glad God chose this for us today. Acts 26 (starting with verse 12) is about Paul's conversion from Jewish Pharisee to Christian convert. The entire story of Paul should give hope to all who read it and feel inadequate in the eyes of the Lord. If you are starting to get the itch to be a Christian, or even if you haven't made it that far yet, and are just kind of finding some of the stories in the Bible interesting or relevant to the world or your situation, but you fear your years of atheism or whatever, read about Paul. Paul is one of the Lord's greatest servants, and his story is there to give hope to all of us that have fallen short of the Lord. let us read. cont.
