China actually does deserve to win. All China has been doing for the past several decades was keeping to themselves, developing economically and investing trillions of yuan worldwide. America, on the contrary, while admittedly doing their fair share of investments, has been meddling with other countries' affairs and attempting to control everything obsessively. Not to say that the US wasn't a force for good in many regions - they did provide security to many, but as of recent this has been deteriorating to the point where more often than not America is a source of problems, rather than a guarantor of peace. Middle East is a great example of this. Both China and US are heavily investing into the region, economically, politically and in America's case militarily. But China enjoys a very wide approval in virtually every Middle Eastern country except for Israel, while for the US its vice versa. Why? Because China brings money, while US brings missiles. And if a few decades ago those missiles did defend at least some Gulf States, now they are painting a mark on them and inviting Iranian strikes. Why would they not choose China over the US under such conditions? If the US does not change anything, in a few decades they may see the same scenario play out in the Pacific region.
