Ukraine is being absolutely flattened, but my news feed is only filled with articles about how Ukraine managed to blow up a mobile SAM or some shit. I remember reading an autobiography of a German kid who was conscripted into the Wehrmacht at the very end of WW2. He was asked, "Did you know what was going on? Did you understand the situation?" And he said that everyone knew they were losing. And they knew it because all of the newsreels kept talking about Germany's stunning victories. But those stunning victories kept happening close and close to Berlin. People aren't stupid. And filtering out all news from and about Russia while cheerleading for Ukraine is going to convince any thinking person that Ukraine is actually holding its own. Let alone winning.
