>>541713722Well...a buddy of mine had one. It was a Rescue and it had been beaten to shit before he got it. He was a great guy and had 5 kids. That dog absolutely adored them and watched over them. Didn't change the fact that it was incredibly dangerous to everyone else, chewed it's way through 4 leather muzzles and would have eaten anyone, from asshole to eyebrows, who got anywhere near those kids.

Sure the vast majority will never maim anyone and a proper owner further decreases that risk, but then again a properly trained tiger would likely have the same chance of not killing anyone but you dont see people walking tigers for a walk. Pitbulls make excellent guard dogs for junkyards or for a home without kids or women, but why anyone besides poorfags would choose them out of the hundreds of dog breeds to make a family pet baffles me
