>Scott Bessent said a disorderly, sharp decline in the yen could set off forced unwinds of major trading positions.
>He warned this could spread stress across global markets, not just Japan.
>The end result, he said, would be higher borrowing costs for US households and businesses.
Even the U.S. Treasury Secretary wants you to run away,if you don’t, you’re an idiot.

Globalism is so fucking retarded.

This is a tier up from globalism itself, the central banks are worried about their Financialized debt-based worldwide ponzi casino itself. Core of corruption.
And this will bring the entire system down rapidly. (for example) A currency crisis touched off by the vastly unstable global bond market of the past half-decade
U.S. Treasury and Bessent are playing high stakes gambling and duct-taping of a vastly insolvent global entity, that amounts to nothing more than temporary palliatives. We all better hope it 'works'

Do you duty for ZOG visit Japan pay triple the listed price save the yen save 1 trillion zog treasury bills (the fed will buy them)
Hail Fauci
>>
globalism relies entirely on the jew bankers playing money magic tricks. without the yen carry trade the entire globohomo scam collapses and the entire Earth becomes #110
>>
So wait to buy Japanese goods? Or buy now?

The fed will buy 1 trillion in zog debt fron nippon, the fed had 9 trillion on its balance sheet in 2022
This is not the end

Scotty has no idea what his job actually is. He keeps taking positions and making trades when there isn't a counterparty. The Yen carry better not unwind, the US has bet a third of its total economy on lower interest rates and hopefully soon because he's paying the mortgage with a credit card right now.
>>

>So wait to buy Japanese goods? Or buy now?
If you're buying smuggled goods that haven't paid taxes, the depreciation of the yen will result in lower prices.
However, if you're buying legitimate goods that have been taxed in the U.S., you won't benefit from the depreciation of the yen.
Because their prices will go up

>muh $1T in zogdebt
Not happening. He knows what he's doing, but is also well aware of the high stakes robbing-Peter-to-pay-Paul ponzi game he's playing with USTs.
This administration's plan (now almost 2 full years in) to raise the annual gdp growth up to 6 or 7 percent<---that would even if, *just barely* keep the U.S. ahead of Interest Payments on the increasing-by-$2.5-trillion-each-year national debt,
which hasn't happened (annual gdp growth still mired in the 2-3 percent range and the AI leveraged bet is turning out a flop).
Everyone is in big trouble, all 160 nations on Earth. None of this is solely or exclusively about the fate of the U.S./its treasury alone (though yes at current spending rates and if the gdp growth doesn't rapidly and shortly spike imminently, the U.S. is on the highway to total default four years from now and the global debt market won't last nearly that long).
As said above, the real thing to watch for here besides rapid spikes in UST yields is a forex market crisis (that will inter-leverage with the bond market instability). When the debt market goes, it's all over lights out.

Americans actually fell for the AI grift and bet it all, how retarded are they?

>Uhh the Yen declining causes the Yen carry trade to profit.

The Yen declining will cause Japan to increase thier interest rate which will kill the Yen carry trade you absolute idiot. The whole reason there is a Yen carry trade is because of the low interest rate.

I recently met this skitzo that claimed he was sent from the future to prevent nuclear holocaust but after being here a couple years he now wants to make sure the event goes off without a hiccup, that life will be better for those that survive because in the future there aren’t any blacks or Muslims to speak of really not enough to be the planetary cancer that they currently are.

i’m just going to buy shit there soon lol

Good, Japan has been burdened with the yen carry trade for far too long. Hinders their ability to actually promote economic growth.

Congress. They are the ones keep rubberstamping this shit, all bought off by big """"tech""""
Congress holds the purse strings on spending. Not the president
and of course from the monetary perspective, which enables the fiscal irresponsibility, it is Treasury+central bank that greenlights the 'moneyprinting'
>'sure, no problem the credit card has an unlimited balance'
Until the Interest Payments overtop annual discretionary spending as already happened 3 years ago and are now on target to swamp half the federal budget <poof> gone, to Interest Payments alone
entire system its revolving door is beyond corrupt

Yes (that's the current administration's viewpoint and timeline) but the global debt market doesn't observe that
Next several months are going to be highly interesting

I personally hope it doesn't. Better to rip off the band-aid sooner rather than later.
