Pretty much every single mainstream systemD distro was planning to comply. Linux Mint kept quiet, started banning users on their forums for opposing it and asking questions about it. It was a good eye opener into the development teams of all these distros. When all is said and done are they really any different to what people are trying to get away from? Not really.
