What's actually wrong with datacenters?>Closed loop cooling system, so no water being used after the initial fill-up>On its own grid, or will have an extra powerplant built to support the needed energy>The construction of the datacenter creates many jobs that utilizes nearly every type of tradeworker imaginable. These companies aren't retarded, they aren't going to build a datacenter on land that can't handle it. If they thought there wouldn't be enough energy they wouldn't make it there. What jobs will even be replaced either? Spreadsheet makers? Who gives a shit.
>>541742909>very loud and ruins quality of life drastically if you live near it>uses so much electricity/water that price goes up for everyone>doesnt actually create any jobs once its build, even a big datacenter only needs like 10-20 people while destroying thousands of jobs with AI
>>541742909>On its own grid, or will have an extra powerplant built to support the needed energyProof?>>The construction of the datacenter creates many jobs that utilizes nearly every type of tradeworker imaginable.Proof?
>>541742909>Consumes drinking water near lakes/streams/rivers. >Causes electric bill to go up on communities. (Via passed on to the tax-payers.) How fucking stupid are you stupid motherfuckers? People don't want those near their communities. IT. COSTS. ELECTRICITY. AND WATER PRICES TO SKY-ROCKET. STUPID FUCK! KYS!
>>541743530>Consumes drinking water near lakes/streams/rivers.It's a closed loop system. After you fill it up, no more goes in our out. Do you ever have to put extra fluid into your home air conditioning system?>Causes electric bill to go up on communitiesIt does not. Do you really think a huge company would put a datacenter on a piece of land if they thought that the electricity was scarce there? They might make stupid decisions but they are not retarded.Even then, BYOP (Bring your own power) is becoming a thing for newer datacenters where they build their own power plants just to ease the worries of those who think it'll affect them.
>>541742909>on its own gridIt’s not though. Many towns have told their residents taxes are going up to support these data centers.
>>541743768> It does not. Do you really think a huge company would put a datacenter on a piece of land if they thought that the electricity was scarce thereYes because they think they can tell the stupid goyim that they need to cut back or limit their energy consumption or “China will win”
>>541742909I used to work at a data center,I wont ever be hired again by anyone ever because of Jews and IDF soldiers running everything. The end. everything became national security ran by a bunch of faggots that look at data left over like its a crime scene and a bunch of retarded NPCs that act like everything is wrong and ilegal.it used to be a hobby for nerds to go to data centers and plug their servers in and host websites. Now everything require lawyers and a bunch of other shit
>>541743768>It's a closed loop system. After you fill it up, no more goes in our out. Do you ever have to put extra fluid into your home air conditioning system?the devil is in the details. I don't even think they use water in their closed loops, or just water. but anyway they might be dumping the heat into some running water/river. like have big ass heat exchangers to put heat into running water not air. Linus from LTT dumps the heat from all his home servers into his pool water. but that's just a speculation for datacentersthey also need to be serviced once in a while, the cooling loops. cleaned.you have also a bunch of other uses for water in such facilities. cleaning and whatever else.but the power use and carbon emissions yeah those are pretty much real, no way to go around that, unless solar panels or some shit but they're not running those on solar lol
>>541742909Im a chinese dick sucker and I want america to fail and I want china to rule the world so thats why data centers are bad.
Its a chink psyop, data centers are good actually
>>541742909>believing jews, jeets, and boomerslmao
>>541742909>>541743768>>541745000Americans let jews rape kids and they have the audacity to post as if they are human.
>>541742909Kek:>The narrative is largely inaccurate. While data center construction provides a temporary boost to trade workers, operational facilities create very few permanent jobs relative to their footprint and tax breaks[16][20]. Most data centers do not run on private, dedicated power plants—they pull heavily from the public grid, driving up transmission costs and utility rates for local residents[9][15]. Furthermore, while closed-loop systems exist, evaporative cooling is still widely used, consuming millions of gallons of water daily[3][4].Inb4: I have nothing against AI. I’m surprised myself at how complex it is.
>>541742909They're part of the beast system, just like flock cameras
>>541742909WHAT DO THEY DO, WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO DO FOR US, WHY DO WE NEED SO MANY, WHY ARE THEY GOOD, WHY DO WE NEED THEM?? AAAAHHHHH!!!
