A top economist is predicting that AI will kill social mobility. If you're not currently in the upper/upper-middle class, you need to change your ways and unfuck your future NOW. Because the doors are closing shut. You probably have 3 to 5 years at most to secure your status in the new economic and social order.

what social mobility did we even have to begin with?

The average person making 60k a year gives 1/5th to the government in takes, 40% to rent and the remainder is spent on food and maintenance and a portion goes into stocks.

People phyiscally cannot 'change' because they already 'did everything right'. The only solution is a final solution.

Superintelligence is a meme that only exists so number can go up. LLMs can not become AGI. It's not possible. You don't fundamentally change a thing just by adding more compute. A calculator that has infinite compute is still just a calculator, just like an LLM with infinite compute is still just an LLM. It will never be anything more than "predict the next token based on the preceding context." Its "knowledge" is entirely parasitic.
"AI" is used as an umbrella term so people can say, "what about robots? what about self driving cars?" which are entirely different classes of things from LLMs. They are not the same thing and shouldn't be lumped together.
>>
Its all about who owns the AI, corporations own the ai? then welcome to the techno feudalist cyber punk future.

Only stupid people think AI is smart lol
If I ever had to ask AI one thing, I would be laughed out of my fucking field.

Political science, sociology, psychology, law, and economics are all filed under ARTS in academia. They are NOT Sciences, but a collection of subjective analyses, as varied as there are opinions, devoid of practicality or reproducibility. Smoke and mirrors for those who want to hear themselves speak and to manipulate others.

Luckily for the hard sciences, failure is not rewarded and it is eventually weeded out via practical application and reproducibility. The hard sciences are unlike the above-mentioned Arts’ disciplines, in which failure not only thrives, but is rewarded and allowed to distort reality and hinder progress.

Your options for a future are

The culture

star trek

brave new world

Maybe it will be a mix of all three!

either way, if AI isnt a flop and we get agi then that will radically change everything, including the economic system and capitalism itself

And yet people still lined up for the funvaxx
Despite open confessions as much wherewith jesse ventura and alex jones of yesteryeara broadcasts; they both openly interviewed people which verbatim laid out the most recent playbook
Now you have a bible, doing all that, and it approximates the reality we live in using interesting vectors: namely that ai is the beast that is and is not and yet is- from daniel and revelation
The beast is currently rising up out of the sea(nations)
The mark of the beast is technologixally feasible, we simply lack infrastructure

No i dont readily believe in any of the fallacies or grift idealizations
The public is not openly consuming that which is reserved for the same walled gardens governing fixing pricea of every asset and commodity under the financial sphere
And theyre going at length to develop and build an infrastructure thatll economically constrain the goyims of yesteryear with mandatory, 24/7, 365, digital identity bwcked by biometric DNA unique signatures
The turbogoyims express: mark of the beast edition

The strong delusions and idolatry will continue: ai psychosis is the least of these facets; only one of many

this
the sun will still fucking shine

Money does not make food.
Labor, Seeds, Land, Air, Sun, and Water make food— we have ALL of these things WITHOUT fucking money. If you remove JUST ONE of these items, YOU WILL NOT HAVE FUCKING FOOD.
MONEY DOES NOTHING BUT ACT AS A QUANTIFIER FOR FUCKING TRADE.
We cannot have unearned income AT THE EXPENSE OF earned income. Finance must be the servant of production, not its master.

you already have the fucking power
it is YOU that chooses to continue using the grid to your own detriment
you already have the power right now
you have agency still
they just need your consent to implement it wholly, then having agency won't even matter

the current tech trend is for citizens to not hold or own information or organize it or remember it
they also do not store it on their own computers, but in a foreign cloud that tracks all changes in real time
they only have instantaneous ACCESS to information
people are not being conditioned to retain info or organize it for themselves

tptb are now waiting for anyone with a high amount of intellect and knowledge to die off, then they will just be left with the malleable, dumbed-down 'instantaneous access' population that can't put two and two together

USE FUCKING CASH AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, NO MATTER WHAT COUNTRY YOU ARE IN
NEVER USE YOUR PHONE TO PAY

A NATION'S FIAT IS THE POWER OF THE PEOPLE IN THEIR OWN FUCKING HANDS
and this is why the bankrupt Fed seeks to even abolish paper fiat Federal Reserve Notes, b/c fiat paper mostly SERVES THE FUCKING CITIZEN

fiat is the common national bond and cooperation of the value of one's labor
if this fiat is issued by a private, debt-based central bank such as the Federal Reserve franchise, then only the Fed franchises profit/benefit from the labor of the citizens, the treasury or the citizens do not profit and/or not benefited.

This has been true since the industrial revolution. Those with capital simply outcompeted you by buying more machines. A lone seamstress wasn't going to compete against the guy with 100 steam driven looms. A single farmhand wasn't going to compete with a gas powered thresher.

Hell even before the industrial revolution those with capital simply bought more labor/more slaves.

1_99% of you humans are brainlets

2_Before computing video edition there was machines to cut tape and unify it it was an entire profession the introduction of digital video and adobe premiere did not reduced the job quite the opposite it increased.

3_Everyone minus 40 year old age is so buck broke by boomers owning all assets and growing in poverty that can't think of any scenario that is not zero sum and someone has to lose for other to win.

4_The introduction of cars also destroyed horsing for transportation but did not reduced demand for transportation.

5_AI does not increase cost of capital quite the opposite in 2 years anyone with AI will be able to make hollywood tier movies alone, you will be able to make operative systems, any software you want, any game you want with willpower and AI.

6_This is why bill gates is seething AI actually reduces the cost of capital in massive way making any market easy to enter for a determined attacker.

7_Computing is going the path of Apple unified memory systems like the mac minis, local LLMs at current level will be runable by local PCs by 2035.

8_This is why there is so much AI doomerism the powers that be do not want this bill gates want you in a datacenter, paying taxes on tokens and to him, not running it locally.

The harder those at the top try and restrict social mobility, the more they force violent ideological change.

If the doors to peaceful class mobility are shut, people will turn to violent options.

We are heading for Skynet/Terminator world, except we will be fighting the machines AND the rich. And we will win. Because people at the bottom end of the scale are infinitely less reliant on modern infrastructure than the rich and the machines. That infrastructure will begin collapsing the moment violence breaks out and then the elites and their AI horrors will have to face the hordes of desperate people at the bottom, clamoring for their blood.

What happens when a competing nation state offers their less censored model for free access?

And with that model it clearly demonstrates with empirical evidence how governing humans in a techno-feudalistic way is bad for everyone except those on top.

And then when it proposes an alternative that is fair, and sold the masses in a bespoke individual way such to arm them with the knowledge of how good life can be... What then?

Everyone always thinks that LLM's and machine learning means the "elite" secure their position and motility evaporates but they never think of the 2nd, 3rd etc order consequences of technological advancement. Their model can only exist in a North Korean style isolation. With any tiny amount of openness their model collapses under the inherent motivations of a capitalist system delivering "AI truth" to everyone in a competitive theatre, that includes the information theatre of warfare.

It annoys me beyond comprehension that i have to live in this world with so many short-sighted pseuds.

Most retarded argument ever. People with money already can buy an army of professionals to work for them and outcompete you, it's called a multinational corporation.

Normal people without degrees don't lose anything and professionals that got hired in the corporations are enslaved with 200K in student debt. They are nothing but debt slaves working for a master.

At least now anybody can have their own professional for free or really cheap and if you want social mobility to go to the trades or start a service business were dealing with a real person is important.

pretty much. how many "top economists" are billionaires? its like that other thread that's up "if you're so smart, why aren't you a billionaire?" right back at you
>>
>>541761561
jews and their boomer slaves already killed social mobility. AI is just a convenient scapegoat to pin the blame on.
>>
>>541761561
>A top economist is predicting that AI will kill social mobility.
The same AI that I asked question about replacing some part in car produced in 2015 and it replied to me saying there is no video or manual on how to do it yet because said car just hit the market month ago and is too fresh for that kind of media?

Y'all hear that! Uncle Memeflag says just lick the boot and be an uber driver or do taskrabbit. Enjoy servicing your masters with your service business, plebs.

I do the same but for giga-midwits like you who get triggered by the term AI and need to sperg out like this.

Just this past few months you have flock - amazon ring cam - palantir drone massive panopticon network being installed, omarchy linux, and vidrush making freelance editing obsolete. In the Ukrainian killzone, this month marks widespread adoption of fully ai targeting systems mainly aimed at civilian infrastructure. 2026 marks 11x increase in the amount of data centres actually being built (and over 1500 are formally in the procedure not entering the statistics). Low level customer support is being taken over by chatbots. Few months back Blackrock activelly lobbied for designating possible data center opponents as terrorists. Musk simultaneously came out to advocate for UBI to prevent uprising.

Because it isn't really about money. It's about power, control, and the drive to win.

It's about knowing you are in control of life, and death, and everything in between, and everyone is your pawn. Money was never the goal, the power and prestige and control over others that money brings, it's about mercilessly crushing your competitors so that only you get what you want and everyone else must do without, which makes it all the more pleasurable. The wealthy are psychopaths who basically get off on power and victory and your suffering actually makes them even happier.

>You have all the money and power
>Entire world in the palm of your hand
>Plebs don't care anymore and fuck off to build mud huts in the forest
What now? When you have no one to compete with? What's the endgame?
>>
>>541773898
Same endgame Satan always had. To Challenge God himself and to rule over the Ashes in Hell rather than serve him.

And then Claude and chatGPT cant vote and the DSA wins.

>The wealthy are psychopaths who basically get off on power and victory and your suffering actually makes them even happier.
actual rich people are all decrepit old retards that are trying to buy longevity, purpose, and most importantly, slaves to do their work.
it doesn't work because all the time they spent chasing wealth, they were actively destroying any meaningful relationships that would make that wealth enjoyable.
they are caricatures of human beings, trying to drag us to hell with them.
Case in point: the richest person is Elon Musk, an overcompensating non-virile dead-beat hyper-leveraged autist whose lazily crafted persona of being some Iron-Man-esqe genius tech magnate folds under minimal scrutiny.
Before him was Jeff Bezo, a manlet with a lazy eye, and Bill Gates, a lecherous flippant pervert.

still waiting on a good answer to the question of if AI takes everyone's job and thus leaves the greater population with no money, who is going to buy all this AI produced goyslop then?
>hurr duur, but but universal basic income
ok, so if the gov can just distribute money printed from thin air without any incoming taxes from the population whatsoever, why are we paying taxes at all then?

Lol, this buzzword again. Meritocracy isn’t real, networking is real, being +6ft tall is real, being part of selective secretive groups is real, being able to mog is real. What does meritocracy get you? You might get to be an employee, not an owner, not a disruptor
>>
>>541773977
They may not be able to vote, but i bet they can rig the elections like never before. Why would there ever be an election again once aimlessly takes off though? The power is in the hands of the elite, they can just send ai drones to blow up dissenters and theres nothing anyone can do to stop them.

oh wow how horrific could you imagine that being the case. sounds like a fantasy land if you ask me! i mean you'd almost think he was describing some current system of borderline wealth-mobility paralysis wherein a fake economy is affixed in place by a giga wealthy jewish oligopoly haha that would be crazy though anyway computers sure are scary

A man who's also infected with the same AI psychosis that Silicon Valley has. This dystopian fantasy that simply won't work because AI and companies don't vote. And you can only convince people to vote against their interests so much.

It's bullshit because at the end of the day, AI is still something you use... You have to decide what function it's supposed to have in the first place. And knowledge/intelligence/adaptability is always going to give you a relative edge in your outcomes.
