First thing I did was buy a very nice pre owned SUV. Paid cash for it and I loved it. Had it for a short period of time and then sold it and bought the car that I most recently had until November of last year. That car got totaled, no fault of my own. My mother passed end of 2023. With that, I lost my place to live. Experienced a lot of homelessness, instability, etc. Even when I've had good jobs (most recent one was USPS), still wasn't good enough. Once you go down that rabbit hole of NEETdom, it's very hard to program yourself back out of it.
