There are no: Mittelstand, PDO/PGI food or alcohol products, decent vocational education, world class machine tool mfgs based here, world class optics companies, glassware companies, headphone companies, etc. America doesn't have companies based here that make actual cars. It's all SUVs and Trucks. With the exception of muscle cars.There is no fucked VAT, 40% tax system for everybody. Again things cost money.But there's also no actual high speed rail, metro systems across multiple cities, autobahn, free healthcare (paid with taxes but still), 1 month vacation, actual maternity leave, etc. The government doesn't permit new housing to actually be built. The cities look like dogshit cookie cutters in new built areas. There is no traditional architecture or towns. Medium sized cities or towns do not have thriving niche family owned businesses like Germany. The government isn't focused on expanding trade with countries like Germany to where they helped create a customs union and then dominate it.The government doesn't give a fuck about anything, there is no traditional culture that hasn't been reduced to trailer trash. America is an economic zone not a country. Germany is an imperfect country that is an actual nation.
