I turned 26 this year. How do I reckon with a political system that seems united in acting like my life hasn't been downwardly mobile and shitty since I was born?Because no matter what "news" station I watch, the consensus is that I'm wrong. But I'm not wrong, I've lived a real life, faced real hardships growing up, and continue to face difficulties today. Why doesn't anyone give a shit?

Places like this are allowed to persist because they know that without a vent, we will break before they're ready for that. You will never be successful in organizing against this world, even if only to escape it, because they will always attack you for it. History is riddled with examples. You have to be secretive. Talk and organize secretley, and make sure your cohorts are silent about it. Bring people into your circles cautiously. Even then, they'll catch you and stop you, so have contingincy plans. It's not insurmountable, but it'll take CIA-level organization without arousing the suspicions of the real actual CIA/Mossad. (same thing)

It cannot be overstated how powerful or well crafted modern propaganda is and your susceptibility to it is a matter of when and not if. When you look at modern social atomization and habits you see that a huge share of people spend more time interacting with propaganda than with human beings in their day to day. If they want to do something 4chan related, they know they'd lose the data stream, and they know none of us are posting from an actual bunker with military artillery with hundreds of our fellow trained insurgents. This is a toe in the water, mainly. The people in charge also don't actually care about their figureheads either, so if a rogue group got together and took out a bunch of talking heads, they'll just put other ones in place. If enough of them got ousted to produce a sort of populist "hostile takeover," they will end that, too. The amount of power they have is insurmountable, but if someone ever figures it out, they do bleed and die, just like we do. Good luck getting there.
