I live here. Objectively, no, it’s not. The city is majority black and run by a nearly all black government first of all. Second, like all cities, it’s mostly minorities and shitlib whites. Third, and this is really the kicker, scumbag leftists who can’t afford to live in cities like New York or San Francisco have flocked here in droves over the last 10 years for the affordability in a big city. So the city is filled with just the worst Americans you can possibly imagine. Even in the Northeast where it’s nominally more conservative it is in reality just liberal white trash. The only redeeming qualities are the history and generally conservative by Northeastern standards Pennsylvania laws. If you do move here, understand your neighborhood matters A LOT. If you can’t afford Rittenhouse or some other swanky Center City neighborhood your only remotely decent options are Fairmount, East Falls, and Manayunk. No matter what anyone says, avoid NoLibs and Fishtown. The Philly suburbs are an entirely different matter.
