Industry guy here in microbiology and food safety/stability role at a company with a $12bn market cap. Not a labbie or peon, but in senior leadership (e.g. I'm old as fuck).Any of you edgy little guys claiming this is just over-reporting or some kind of TDS smear campaign are unfortunately very, very wrong (and pulling this concept completely and totally out of their asses, based on intellectually dishonest reporting and random internet opinions). Since RFK, lab closures, support staff cuts across many different sects of the industry, etc., focus on micro-stability, and more importantly enforcement via staff educated on sustainable illness prevention, has dramatically backslid. Farms, processors are foregoing cost whilst embracing the new lack of regulatory oversight. Additionally, and I know you’ll all hate this, the stable browns that staff so many positions in which contamination can occur have been replaced by inexperienced browns that don’t know basic GMP, with management that has interest in paying for training.As much as you all have it allllll figured out (trust me, it’s you fucking don’t), this is not just a hyper focus on a fairly regular “problem.” Ask me ANY questions… please.
