Poland: desperate for France's and Britain's help.
France and Britain: desperate to diffuse the situation.
Poland literally had two main mobilisations because France and Britain forced us to cancel the first one as they thought it was antagonising Germany, lmao. Actually one of the main reasons we lost so badly: the second mobilisation started right before the German invasion and was not completed.
Do you really believe Hitler (the guy who had just broken the Munich agreement btw) saying that Poland started doing crazy shit for no reason and France and Britain were apparently ignoring it?
Germany started WWII because Hitler thought he could turn Europe into a German continent before the United States could recover from the Great Depression and stop him.
