Literally the only way these people will turn against Trump is if it affects their money or love life. Let’s say this guy makes his living importing MIC crap to sell on eBay &/or Amazon at a steep markup. Trump introduces tariffs, that cut deeply into his profits. Starts a war that raises gas prices that raises shipping that cuts moderately into his profits. He raises his prices but his sales drop considerably. Now he’s having trouble making the payments on his $425,000 McMansion and his $50,000 Jeep. Now his whole cruise ship, chain restaurant, Buc-cee’s openings, annual Disneyland vacation etc. lifestyle is threatened. Now he hates Trump. Or let’s say he and his wife who’s Russian and moved here on a Visa in ‘21 go to an out of state wedding. They call to reschedule an immigration but never hear back from them. On the way back she’s nabbed at the airport. Immigration says she missed her meeting and was thereafter declared an illegal alien. Her husband who voted for Trump 3x splutters “Illegal aliens are short brown and jump walls and swim rivers to get here, my wife is blonde, blue-eyed she’s-” but the agents say “respect our laws” and deport her, now he hates Trump because he, a fat 3/10, can’t fuck his Russkie slut who’s the town tramp in the peasant village where she came from and already has a husband and 3 kids she never told him about. The truth is more & more Trump voters are wishing they’d never voted for him, but at least guy’s like the guy in OP’s pic still love Trump.
