They didn't have the mutations that drastically de-pigment skin, like Steppe People and EEFs, but they neither didn't have the genes that code for extremely dark pigmentation, such as if found in Sub-Saharan Africans. Pigment is poly-genetic, of course.But you're 100% right on EEFs developing light pigmentation before Steppe People.
