I've lived here my entire life anon. 38 years. Here's a list of tips in Reddit format just to piss off the fags here.Stay north of 35th Street and east of Western until you get to Belmont. Then you go as as far west as you want.I'm a Northsider. The Southside is where all the blacks and majority of crime is. Outside of the Austin neighborhood, it's usually the worst more southeast you go. It's really uneventful here nothing really happens cops don't even stop you for stupid shit. They go after the big fish. Everyone gets along well as long as nobody's fucking with anybody else. Lakeview, Lincoln Park, North Center and Roscoe Village are really nice expensive Northside areas. Lots of liberals but very safe. I grew up near Wrigley Field and it's a big corporate mess now. But it's safer. Your best bet is the northwest side. Anything west of Cicero and North of Irving Park. I promise you'll do fine there. It's affordable there's plenty to do and you got the Blue Line train that'll take you straight to downtown. Stay off the Red Line after dark. The best pizza places are the ones on the corner is not the big ones, and not the stuffed pizza. Some of the best food in the city is in Lakeview on the North side or along 31st Street on the South side. The place gets a bad rap only because of the dumb liberals and the corrupt politics otherwise it's pretty decent here and Good cost of living. Don't believe the retards on Fox News. Every city has crime. But Chicago is usually one where if you don't fuck with somebody they won't fuck with you. The cops here will shoot you if you fuck around.
