If you choose the red button, you are outing yourself as a loser who is never able to get friends, a partner or children the first time around. Nobody with a loving family would choose red.

Eh it depends the red button would be nice for an older person or Somebody who might have got missed opportunities or Somebody who just wants to have fun. Problem is your 10 years old and starting back in time (im assuming) unless it just turns you into a genius 10 year old and I guess that opens up problems. You could just travel around DCF and foster homes for years i guess.

Honestly I would pick green. I wanted to invest into bitcoin as a teenager but couldn't since I didn't have a bank account. They didn't even want me to invest into gold at that age even though I said the only other thing that would happen to that money is I'd buy videogames and shit with it instead.

My mom even burst into tears when I tried to persuade her into allowing me into investing into gold/silver. Forget about bitcoin and stonks. So I will press green because my parents would not allow me to invest into crypto or nvidia.

>There's no way you could reconstruct the same relationships you have now
Well with the red button do sequences of actions go in the order they happened however many years ago? Like if I hit the red button im going back 28 years and im a kid, im still going to have all those childhood relationships i made before I was 10 and my parents going to have the same situations up to that point but there's A LOT of shit you probably don't remember in 28 years, maybe not knowledge but situations you have to navigate. Its a very loaded button to press. But yeah if you're happy and successful and have everything in the world the red button is silly.
>>
>>541877974
Changing your biological state back to that of a prepubescent doesn't make you ten years old. The only way to become ten years old is to go back in time or somehow have your birth date moved forward. The latter isn't possible in this scenario because you'd lose memories from stuff that happened prior to your new birth date.

While the other anons are mistaken that being made 10 again in current year could still be considered “restarting your life”
The counterargument being given against red is it erasing relationships and children which would only be possible with time travel

Dude, so I was in amazing shape during 9/11. All my skater bun friends were too. And we were like a gang. Getting on planes back then was easy even with weapons. I'm pretty sure I could plant myself and my friends, and some close family members on the planes and stop the attacks. Hell, they should believe everything you say since you could prove it by predicting sporting events with 100% accuracy. Because it wouldn't just be me and my buddies and some family members. And we would be able to obviously tell who the terrorists kikes were so we would have the jump on them.
Or, you could get on the plane, take it over before the terrorists do and ram it into the fucking ground.

With me well the only store in my city that sold gold/silver bars and coins required you to be 18 or have your parents permission. So that place wasn't an option. Without a bank account there's nothing I could invest at. I guess I could catch shit like invest in Micron and 25x my money. But honestly no way I could get close to 2 million with how much my parents restricted my from investing when I was a teenager.

Only valuable thing about red would be time. One of my childhood friends got a horrific chronic condition at 14 years old. So if I went back to being 10 years old that's 4 years of time I could spend with him before he got that.

OP’s assumption is that I’m under 25 and still holding on to a large friend group, or married with a family. My friends all went their separate ways and I’m too ugly and retarded to find a wife. So obviously I’d hit Red.

I’d get to experience a great childhood for a second time, with new friends and new experiences, but still having the memories of the past friends and experiences. Obviously I’d come out more wealthy, but there’s much more to it than that.

If you have a family, then Green is the obvious choice. $2 million is probably enough to retire on (maybe). It would definitely make your life easier, which in turn would enrich the lives of your children.

True depends what year you were 10 in, and I guess you don't really know how much that event effected things in the long run. Like let's say you find a way to release the Epstein Files unredacted and that somehow leads to WW3 or a mass uprising all over the world.

because you lose everything else you have in your life with the red button. Like for me? I don't have kids, my family is dead except one aunt. I'm the youngest of my gen in the family so no risk of whoops a cousin isn't born. So going back to 10 is a no brainier.
I accept I'm going to be the weird kid. In 5th grade but with adult verbiage and a college degree education. What do I do at recess? Read adult books? I'm never going to study and still ace everything. Going to cash in on every stock etc... Be fu rich by 30-35.
But if I was married to the love of my life and had kids? I'm killing my kids with the green button or at least blinking them out of existence. Same for ever meeting my wife. It's a heavy price VS 2 mil and set my kid's future up.

There was a short story in National Lampoon years ago with this premise. The main character, with his adult mind and memories, goes back in time to the 1950s and seduces his 5th grade teacher. After he fucks her she asks if he's inside yet as she couldn't feel his child size dick. So he ends up fisting her and she loves it.

Ok I got it. Make friends with a military pilot somehow. Maybe inside betting or trading info. Become close friends and make him rich as fuck. I’m happy with who I am and where I am. If I went back to being ten with what I know now, it wouldn’t be the same. There are things I know now that would ruin whatever good parts of my childhood I had. Maybe it’s just me. My shit was a mess and just got messier as I got old enough to be told about things. I’d rather keep the ignorance and innocence of my youth. Also for all those people saying they’d invest, you’re ten bud, you’re not investing into shit. And nobody is going to listen to a ten year old on how to invest either. You could change some things about your trajectory, maybe bang a few more floosies, but you’re not going to meaningfully change that much about your life.

>need their permission?
The older one is then more knowledge they leverage jumping back to 10. A guy who is 21 now isn't going to be able do what a person who is 40 could do. The 40 year old can live normal, work and save and make a power move at 30. The 21 year old can't really do shit but beg his parents to invest in winners, if they even have the money.
Hits 18 and gains what? The last 3 years of cheating the market? How much money can he leverage at 18 to invest to then cash in? Maybe sports betting if you rem the games and winners. Other wise it's very possible you relive 11 years to gain 30k...
>>
I don't want to relive my childhood traumas and also the stock market and crypto are jewish scams. I'm taking the $2 million in cash and just living the rest of my life peacefully.
>>
>>541877242
That 2 million is enough to buy me multiple income streams. Fuck being a kid again. I'm not going through all that shit again, imagine actually having to be surrounded by other 10 year olds and having to go to school and talk to them everyday. Then doing homework and going through exams again.

>>541879483

Nobody at ever 35+ with any sort of decent life is pushing the red button. Your kids? Gone. Wife? Gone. You're brother kids and your friends kids? Gone. All so you can maybe make more money? Being butterfly effect could make you lose.
Plus it's not like 2m is nothing. That's a house or leverage to retire super early. College for your kids. Red is only an option for people living solo or real unhappy. Being if I had a junky or retard needs care sort of kid, I'd reset...

So I thought this at first until someone brought up a good point. Namely at a very old age, Red becomes viable again. Like if you're 80, you lived a full life, you got to see your kids grow up and have their own children and maybe you even have one great grandchild already, at that point, Red is effectively New Game+. I'm 39 and wouldn't give my family up for anything right now. Green could be "you go bankrupt" and I'd still pick it over Red, but if I was 80? I'd pick Red.

Use the profits from Michael burry's short to buy thousands of us rental properties for pennies on the dollar. Buy tesla 2011 as it a current penny stock too. Continue till today, multi billionaire.

we had threads here that showed the round in 5 frames entering from rear right and then exiting to pass a foot out from his knee into the dirt.
the speed suggested it was an air pressure pellet from a weapon one can buy at a hardware store without a background check.

unless those were fake and this video is too and intentionally planted to confuse, it makes sense to me.
the shape charge is I guess theoretically possible though very unlikely. shape charges don't work like that but I guess they could be made to and the plant exploding days after is suspicious.

it's certainly not a 30-06 wound, using that suggests they want us to know. but I don't think it's an entry wound at all.

though closeups of the wound have a like blurry patch over it as if it was edited. the whole thing was obviously some sort of fake theater production so why couldn't it be fake fake? I have no idea.

if I had to bet though the air pressure hidden in that 1920s style camera from rear right.

def 10 y.o. restart

You can even keep the metaknowledge of things like 2008 market fallout, bitcoin or other opportunities-of-a-lifetime.
Just having an appreciation for how fucked everything is when you DON'T do the right thing and say your prayers at night means starting over at 10 y.o. and taking advantage of compounding interest means you essentially have a free ticket to making it.

Don't get me wrong. I have a '2mil dollar plan' I could put into effect right now, but getting a silly networking job with my experience right out of highschool would put me into the same position, in 2000s valued dollars, plus the next twenty years of compounding interest.
It wouldn't even be 'making it' territory. It would easily be billionaire club territory. Not that I would bother shooting that high.

Because the other benefit of decades experience is an appreciation for things that actually matter, like health, sustainable property, and for sure all of the tools/energy to run those tools sufficient to sustain it. Good wife, making kids, and giving those kids as much of that appreciation for the same as you can before they even hit puberty.

Hell, just getting to sleep at the right time and exercising daily before and through puberty would probably have such a tremendous effect on general wellness by the time you hit twenty, the difference alone would make the restart worth it - even barring any other knowledge beyond the discipline.

This is so far removed from a contest I'm not sure why anyone would ever consider the alternative, barring being 12 y.o. and banned

To further illustrate, I am a believer in the Lazarus effect. I think most anons aren't going to die. We're in the middle of the singularity. The difference between where we will be in 80 years with or w.o. the restart will be negligible. I'd still Red

Nah, I’ve got kids, a wife, a job I worked hard to get to that I wouldn’t have without being through what I’ve been through. I’m an established adult with a lot of good things going for me I didn’t have in the past. I’m old enough to know that certain things I would just be putting myself through again, things I tried to stop back then and couldn’t. It would be more harm to myself than good to go back knowing what I know now. Maybe it’s different for others but for me, I’d rather have this life now (and $2mil) than go back. At ten my family was dirt poor, about to go through an incredibly nasty series of divorces and deaths and moves. Friends still would’ve died. I still would’ve been exposed to the things I was exposed to, it’s not like you have agency in your life at ten years old. I’d rather take the easy $2mil than fool myself thinking I’d be some investment expert in middle school.

Anon that is not how buying stocks works, unless you think time traveling anons would be buying 50% of the float of any given publicly traded company, instead of 0.1%. Building a 0.1% position would not do anything to the stock price. There would still be sellers for any potential buyers.
If you held 0.1% of Meta, Nvidia, Alphabet, Microsoft, Tesla, Apple and SpaceX you would be worth tens of billions of dollars.
Also 0.1% of the shares do not get a seat on the board or any influence of any kind over the decisions the leadership makes.

Holy fuck you really are that stupid. You LITERALLY KNOW THE FUTURE.
How about I tell them something major that no one, much less a child, has any clue is coming? I tell them who wins the next primary before the candidates are announced, then which candidate wins, and how the aftermath plays out. This is insanely precise knowledge for someone who spent their life entrenched in politics to even get a fraction of correct, much less a ten year old. You can tell your parents stories about THEMSELVES that they hadn’t told you yet.

You wouldn’t even needed to tell the future if you weren’t retarded.
One day I’m a normal ten year old child, the next day I tell my parents I want to sit down and talk with them. Their ten year old boy suddenly has the vocabulary and rationality of an educated man. You don’t think your parents would be extremely interested in their child COMPLETELY CHANGING overnight? Well, you can talk to them about that.

Honestly, it’s fucking crazy you are so stupid you can’t even imagine hypotheticals like these.

Yes, keep your family, wife, children, relationships, career, friends and become a 10 year old.

Shit would be weird. I have to take some hardcore martial arts classes to keep up with my kids. People would call my wife a pedo. She better deal with that with grace. Because she is 2 years away from the most insane libido rollercoaster I ever had.

Could you imagine telling your 38 year old wife of 18 years to whip out her giant mature floppers and suck your tiny dick, before tucking you in. Frankly, I'm pounding that red button.

that's your position?

again it's unfortunate that the initial question was pre framed to make people think in terms of money but in this case it's very cut and dry. it's not even a matter of already having a nest egg or even a credit card. you need to be able to download a miner from a forum you already know the name of.

Keep in mind the butterfly effect and the whole rule of just 6 degrees of separation from anyone. It's not oh you buy a certain percent and blah blah...
It's more like late to work, boss is pissed, beats his wife, wife calls her brother.... Brother is distracted by call and hits in dude in a crosswalk who is a future all star at a company. Stock never takes off...

Knowledge that you can beat the shit out of any bully and then manipulate it to not be your fault. God tier fitness or health being you start at 10 but with adult level commitment. Maybe helping family or at least spending more time with them. Like anyone who has lost a parent already would cherish more time with them.
But change the world stuff? Maybe planting trees all over or gain wealth and do activist level stuff. You're not going to be able to stop bad global events. Some feel, theoretically, you can't even change anyone's basic fate.
Like every possible time line has a 9/11 but maybe a dif building and it's 10/02..

More like you're too young to have really shitty events happen in your life yet. Everything has to line up perfectly for any interaction to happen. Something where you relive the day for years and all the if only and had they just...
