I was born in Swift Current, Sask. I lived in a town called lucky lake. there until I was 18. Most of my family moved away. The purpose of the town and many towns like it are to be central community hubs that act as economic centers for the local farming community. Farms generally require less people these days so many towns have been struggling. The landscape is not very beautiful. It is mostly flat land, the south is all cleared farmland and the north is thick boreal forest.The people are general good folk but there's some really unfortunate cases where some haven't had a good life and people struggle.I lived in Saskatoon as a teenager and there are many more opportunities in the city. Saskatchewan is a great place to live for a relatively mellow existence. I have autism ave really like computers and my narrow scope of skills and high productivity level led me to leave for an area of Canada that can better make use of my skills and pay me more.
