Yes, I'd say a true atheist does indeed need to reject liberalism but not because there is a greater dogma but rather because human universalism implied by liberalism, in my opinion, implies a god. I think 99% of self identified atheists believe in a god and have mislabeled themselves. The god that made evolution magically stop working on the human brain to not offend niggers.
