This issue of privacy in a public place is a Trojan horse for protection of criminals
the US constitution has become an unfortunate instrument of protection of crime and criminal activity of all kinds
Notice that the people whining the loudest against Flock Cameras are Left Wingers
>>
Only brownoids hate flock.
ALPRs have been around since 1981. They are used constantly to catch stolen cars. The hysteria only exists now because leftists think they can be used by ice.

The US constitution is a liberal document. It's meant to protect individual rights.
Flock and other forms of surveillance like it are going agaisnt the document. And those behind it want to normalize it so one day search and seizure can be amended out.

That's how you change the US, you normalize something within the private world and it will eventually get into politics. The Christian "right" in the US knew this a long time ago.

>Why are you against the government building a personalized database about you that tracks your behavioral habits, travel routes, economic activity, and personal associations with the exp[licitly stated goal of building a social credit system similar to the one the CCP utilizes? It's the government, they'd never do anything wrong!

grand slippery slope argument
This issue of privacy rights in a public place in such a wide scope is a relatively new phenomenon

From Google AI
Before 1967: The Supreme Court followed a "trespass doctrine," meaning Fourth Amendment protections applied only to physical property and constitutionally protected spaces like homes, offices, or personal items. Public areas or things outside physical property boundaries had no such protection

So you see
New rights are being invented every day
This is no less pernicious than the 'Right' to abortion
it is time these artificially concocted rights are eliminated one by one

>>
>>541908996
Those are fundamentally different questions
The important question is
Did the original 4th amendment
Give a citizen a right against being tracked?
Not until 1967, he did not

These 'rights' against being tracked were invented in a court room
This is an ABUSE OF THE CONSTITUTION of the USA
If you want to change the constitution do it the right way
By having a constitutional AMENDMENT

Look up Izzat. Indians think tricking people (even while debasing yourself) is a kind of intellectual endeavour. If you can make someone believe something, that means you have power over them. Obviously it doesn't make sense to a clearheaded white man, but Indians have a couple of screws loose
>>
>>541909572
>In practice, they are used to track white men and antisemitic sentiment.
I think you are being hyperbolic here

You want more power to go to the state as a way of balancing out their general incompetence rather than pushing for more competence among law enforcement you push for loss of rights privacy and safety. I have already given my opinions on where I would be comfortable with this sort of technology as their are venerable spots in many cities that I would be fine with a greater ability to surveil I just don’t believe that that is enough to justify its omnipresence as we already have given up enough privacy through the use of phones and the governments used of drones and satellites
>>
>>541907015

Tracking Vehicles:
The cameras take still photos of passing cars and read license plates.
Police search this database to find suspect vehicles in violent crimes, thefts, and kidnappings

Solving Cases:
Data from the company shows the system supports roughly one million
investigations a year. Police in various cities credit the system with helping solve homicides and catch dangerous suspects quickly

Finding Missing People:
The network helps locate over 10,000 missing or endangered people every year.

While there isn't a single official psychological term for this exact behavior, several terms from psychology, rhetoric, and slang describe specific angles of it:
Rhetorical & Psychological Terms
Pedant / Pedantic: A person who is overly concerned with minor details, formal rules, and literal facts, often ignoring the human context, personal values, or bigger picture of a conversation.
Technocrat: In a debate context, this refers to someone who treats every issue purely as a cold, data-driven math problem while completely ignoring the human elements, values, or personal perspectives involved.
Proof-Surfing / Cherry-Picking: Throwing out stats without revealing a personal stance is often a tactic called "cherry-picking"—selecting only data points that support a specific outcome while pretending to remain neutral.
Intellectualizing: A psychological defense mechanism where someone uses cold facts, logic, and data to completely avoid dealing with emotions, personal beliefs, or genuine human connection.
Slang & Informal Terms
Fact-Checking / Stat-Dumping: A person who "stat-dumps" throws overwhelming amounts of data at you to shut down a debate rather than having an honest back-and-forth about how they actually feel or what they believe.
Playing Devil's Advocate: If they are bringing up stats for a point of view they don't even agree with just for the sake of arguing, they are playing devil's advocate.
Sealioning: A debate tactic where someone pretends to be purely objective and just "asking for evidence" or "presenting data," but does so in bad faith to exhaust the other person without ever revealing their true stance.

Except when the government does change policy and "gives you more rights". The progressive has defacto given criminals the right to smoke meth in public. Often times progressives refuse to take away the rights of criminals abusing them. I believe the anti-flock business is more of the same. They have been in operation for nine years without anyone making databases or trying to create a social credit system. The police get a lot of calls as a natural result of flooding the country with illegals and sanctuary states trying to handle niggers with kid gloves. If the surveillance existed it could result in plenty of these being incarcerated which could result in consituencies chimping out.
The average DNC voter with their sloganeering don't see anything wrong with a little bit of burglary, petty theft, and vandalism. To them the penal code is this insufferable and unfair yoke they can't possibly carry. Incarceration hardly breaks them of this mindset and anything the justice system does is injust in their minds.
But, they can dissimulate that the cops are going to track and monitor people for no reason or unjustifiable reasons. If the cops had that kind of time we wouldn't need cameras.

good post.
I think a major part of the problem, is how we deal with cops that act in bad faith. A local cop routinely uses flock system to track a girl they like that doesn't like them back, or an ex wife, or like that. There needs to be a PUBLIC example made out of them. I'm not talking about that cop-nanny bullshit, either. A week off without pay, wow, how will they live through their punishment. I'm talking prosecuted after being fired and stripped of their free cop lawyers. The people responsible for "law and order" need to demonstrate that procedure.
>
The public has lost faith in police. There's little tiny girl cops you know are useless in a real situation and will shoot the innocent bystanders on a bad scene. The big strong men? Will taser grandma's and drag them out of cars for burned out tail lights. Go fucking figure the poublic has *ZERO* confidence that the whole flock system won't be misused.
>
What's the difference between a flock camera and a gun?
Not much. Both are valuable tools. Both can be used improperly.

What a lot of people don't realize is cops are constantly arresting cops. Sometimes they do get out of control when they've formed police gangs that know how to duck IA and there can be much more grievous examples when judges or prosecutors get in on the conspiracy but for the vast majority the badge gets them someone in their department not field sobriety testing them when they get caught in a DUI checkpoint or some other regular person crime. Cops have been caught abusing the flock system and have been removed from the force and prosecuted. This is because there are already systems in place to catch abuses of power because if the police don't self police the people can make a big stink over it and some politician can run on completely reforming the police department. An AG can invite the feds in. Then you have a situation where Sherriff's are going to federal prison and the department losing public trust that could have been prevented if the bad apples were rooted out sooner.

>The progressive has defacto given criminals the right to smoke meth in public.
...is that really your evidence for the assertion that government occasionally gives back rights? That they neglect to enforce drug laws?

That's not even the reason for that specific phenomena, even putting aside that doing drugs is a pretty shit "right." They don't enforce against methheads and other druggies because enforcement against them is difficult and resource-consuming due to the total lack of cooperation from the methhead. It's anarcho-tyranny; they will neglect to enforce against anyone who makes it difficult and gleefully over-enforce against the compliant, such as middle class White people. Nobody in government said to give people back a right for drugs, they just decided druggies aren't profitable enough to prosecute.

Moreover, you're giving the exact reason why the Flock/ALPR/Axion/etc cameras can't possibly be on the track for being used for good. Government will simply ignore those it's already choosing to ignore, like the 100 million illegal immigrants or the druggies or the race rioters or whoever, the people you'd want the cameras for. It will only use the cameras against those who will show up to a court date, i.e. Joe Plumber who used to wear a MAGA hat.

Also,
>But, they can dissimulate that the cops are going to track and monitor people for no reason or unjustifiable reasons.

Catching criminals is not a problem, it's the judges that are letting them go that are the problem. All those retards on the news have like 30 arrests. Police is doing just fine without flock. Look at El Salvador.

Why are you shifting the goalpost on cops instead of the abuses by the regimes in power?

We haven't lost faith in cops but in the state, it's weak, afraid, paranoid and believe that if citizens feel constantly watched and guilty, they are far less likely to organize, protest and challenge the ruling power, just the usual Stasis and KGB shit.

It's obvious what any post revolution government needs to do about that in order to usher in their dictatorship and they have and will.

Honestly the only reason people hate the surviellance state is becuase it will make it harder for them to rebel/revolt against the system.
If you protest against the system they will track you down.

the fault in their reason lies in the fact that they want to rebel on their own terms when rebellion is really just a response to an overly oppressive regime (with ALOT of glowie/3rd party help)
If they really hated the big brother system theyd be burning down corporate offices, factories and the homes of corporate ceos.
>>
>>541911291
Well, I wouldn't say "constantly". Cops are looking to arrest other cops as a last resort. And while what you went on to describe is all true and real, its not 1% as "vigorous" as you make it sound.
>
the actual real world results are this...
the system does not like to hear about dirty cops or cops bending rules. If they can plug their ears and say "na na na" until the problem goes away (out of the news cycle) they will do that every time they can.
though the public thinks otherwise, the public likes it better when its ignored, too. They feel better thinking it doesn't happen or almost never happens.
>
the net result of this "system" is complete chaos, and every cop knows that in reality its "Pirates of the Caribbbean RUles" that actually matter. IE, the law? Fuck that puppy shit. The only law is what a man can do, and what he can't. Well, that's the COP'S LAW. For ordinary citizens? Quite a different experience.
>
If you have never hd a chance to make a cop squirm or get scared before, I suggest you do it carefully. But it is VERY enjoyable and highly satisfying to see the big bad uniformed street hero? Illusion shattered, they're scared and acting out and pouting like a little kid.

Cop misuses the collected data: automatic death penalty for the cop
Company has a data leak: everyone at the company receives the death penalty, even the janitor
A data error leads to someone being inconvenienced in any way due to that error: death penalty for everyone at the company, even the janitor
Those are my three requirements to not completely oppose Flock and Flock like systems.

Im pretty on board with this. I was thinking about the 'harddrive failure' or whatever bullshit excuse they gave for the Epstein missing footage the other day, and how footage getting corrupted for high profile cases should automatically be treated as tampering with evidence. There needs to be serious incentive to make sure shit like that never, ever happens because otherwise we get bullshit like what we have now.
IF ALL IT TAKES TO HIDE EVIDENCE OF THE ELITES DOING ILLEGAL AND EVIL SHIT IS TO CLAIM "technical error" THEN THEY WILL AND DO EXPLOIT IT. The death penalty woupd be great incentive to making sure footage never goes missing ever again.

When every government is becoming increasingly british (see jewish) it's surveillance not for my benefit like arresting niggers and shit committing crimes but arresting white people for going 3 over the speed limit or trying to prevent their daughter from being raped by niggers.

A trustworthy government that actively had it's citizens interests in mind few would be against the cameras, unfortunately no western nation (previously known as white nations) have that.
>>
>>541907724
Taking pictures in public isn't a search or a seizure. We just need legislation that limits long term storage of the resulting data. Because over time a profile on a specific plate becomes the equivalent of a car having a GPS tracker on it, which would require a warrant.
