It's "Happening every day now" because on average, there are over 6000 product recalls a year. There were substantially more before Covid, and you can probably expect the number to increase as the FDA starts working again. It likely has nothing to do with DOGE cuts and RFK Jr's oversight but we are hearing about it now because "news" is entertainment drama.
