What’s wrong with working in retail while attending university or deciding what to study? In my country, these are seen as "temporary" jobs that young people take just to earn money, kill time, meet people, or while they figure out what to do with their lives. You finish high school and don't know what to do? So, you start working at Domino's; you meet people, socialize more, and begin to gain a better understanding of money and effort, you get into a different routine. Maybe one thing leads to another. Don't feel comfortable there? You look for a job at Starbucks, where the customers are generally middle-class or higher, and you gain more experience. Still not comfortable? Maybe a clothing store, and so on. At the end of the day, they’re always hiring young people; the problem arises if you turn 30 and are still there. But in Mexico, that doesn't really happen, if you reach 30 and are in a place like that, it's because you're the manager; otherwise, you get fired.
Normalizing contempt for them makes it easier to justify exploiting them
I'm confused
>>541937246If I lived in Mexico I’d just do coke and shoot AKs all day. Sounds fucking wizard to me.
Bro those job have been wholly captured by jeet subhumans, kids can't even find a job in or just out of HS because they are competing with infinite brown subhumans>as the youth unemployment climbs higher and higher
>>541937246Wages are welfare, in the generalized, 100% principled sense of austrian economics, which is what modern civilization is ultimately rooted in. People are 30+ and working a job like that because they never acted in their interest, neither for the present nor the future; it's missing the mark, but for some very good reasons. Making the economy more expensive by taking out debt to go to college or own a home, with some notion that you can just ignore your creditors, corrupts it for everyone else, and is self-defeating.
>>541937886Starting working in 2024 and all my wagecuck jobs have had white women
>>541937538shut up kike
>>541937536This. It's why it went from.>wowie back in my day it was good working at Slop Shack, helped me pay for college, a car and my first home. Now it's>Heh, slop shack? But we need more of em!
>>541938035luckywhen i got my first job as a dishbitch in 2009 things were starting to get jeeted now its just all shitjeets
>>541937246I WANT A GODDAMN MEXIFU NOW
>>541937886>have been wholly captured by jeet subhumans,>they are competing with infinite brown subhumansWell, this explains a lot of things.
>the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale.c'mon now, we all know why.Imagine being able to trick people into taking out massive unsecure loans and get all the money they get from the loan while accepting none of the risk and giving to them in return a subpar education worse than that you'd get at a library or apprenticeship. Now imagine if you gave away all the jobs from above and below and now you've squeezed a class of native citizens into nothing more than debt cattle who will take and take until they die. When /pol/ was warning you 10n years ago that they want you dead, we weren't kidding. This is like the opposite of the movie don't look up, where you must only look up and not look down.
>>541937246The Jews tricked us into looking down on other people for doing jobs like this. Instead, in a functional society, these are valuable and necessary jobss and you should be able to support a family and make a living off of this. Not be reduced to poverty and subsistence wages. I would rather have a well paid person who knows their products expertly and help you find exactly what you need than some shitskin pretending to work (because they don't even get paid) and vaguely pointing to an aisle or something in a mega store.
>>541938566fucking jews..
>>541937246Why are Zoomettes so cute? I feel scammed out of cute skinny girlfriend options when I was younger.
>>541937246I worked in retail. It's fine as a first job but either move on or get promoted. The problem is they now expect to earn $1b a year from this and then they immediately put in minimal effort when they realise they'll need a more challenging job
>>541937246I love Latinas so much. My wife’s from Morelos.
>>541938322The upper class in Mexico attends private, non-profit universities. The Mexican middle class has several options:>You take entrance exams twice a year for as many universities as you want, and as many times as you want, in order to get into a prestigious public university. It’s very common to see people who have been trying to get accepted for two or three consecutive years finally make it in; tuition is completely free (and you get free health insurance if you’re admitted, too).>Paying to attend a for-profit university, these schools give scholarships to everyone who enrolls and are very affordable; although they have a reputation for being highly mediocre, a degree is a degree.>Go to a regional university, they accept everyone, and in fact, that’s where the majority of Mexicans get their degree. It's the equivalent of a community college; but they are free. And if you have no money and are a total idiot, you can go to a "Well-being" university; these are free universities established by the government, but sometimes it’s better not to have a degree at all than to hold one from those places, they’re basically the bottom tier of all universities in Mexico.>Gaining access to university education is very easy in Mexico.Young people work in retail mainly to pay for concerts and cosplays, kill time, or have some extra cash.
>>541938991private university /= goodi know because i switched to public
>>541938566Perhaps that sentiment exists in big cities or in First World countries, where the gaps between social classes are wider, but here, feeling superior to someone working in retail is absurd; I have friends who attended prestigious private universities in Mexico and worked in retail just to kill time and for fun. From what I gather, if you're looking for a girlfriend or a fwb, working in retail is a good idea.
>>541939050It depends more on whether it is for-profit or not. But yes, generally speaking, I agree with you. A red flag is if your professors didn't study at the same university where you are currently studying, or if the administrators' alma mater is a different institution. The sense of "belonging" is great when you have teachers who went through the same thing you did.
>>541937538You are confused? Try being a TikTok brain rotted Goyim.
>>541937246>Some people don't know what to study at 18; why is retail viewed negatively in other countries?because the sooner you're on the hook for the student debt, the tighter your noose
>>541939397I mean royalty studied there it is a very rich school but many of the public schools are higher quality with regards to education quality
>>541939446>student debtI thought the First World had free universities, but from what I can read, that's not the case.
the foriegners, they simultaneously complain about other people not having jobs while stealing those jobs, they're stupid cunts
>>541937246>they’re always hiring young peoplefuck you all they do is hire mexicans... not "young people"

>>541941163I didnt know there were a lot of mexicans in brazil, thats weird
>>541941552im an american... unfortunately grew up in the fifth world called california
>>541941163>Everyone working in Mexico is Mexican. It sounds like a conspiracy.
>>541941636I'm seriously considering moving to the US; it seems like all the Mexicans are there.
>>541941275tarantula-verse, nigeruuuuu amica, nigeruuuu!
>>541942143why not it's at least better than mexicoyou can just prance across the border too into california and you get free schooling free healthcare top priority from assembly democrats etcpretty sweet deal desu but irony aside i kinda want mexicans to take over california to finally vote out those whyte shitlibs who are unironically worse than the mexis
>>541937246Because it is basically an unskilled or semi-skilled profession. America values professionals, and skilled workers. If you can be replaced by a new worker with little to no training, you don't have any ambition, and you won't be well paid. Unless you're a prostitute.
Dealing with gen pop is the single best motivation for pursuing a professional career.
>>541942263Life in Mexico is better if you are middle class or above. But if you’re an engineer or academic as competitive as I am, being in Mexico feels like stagnating, doing stable jobs for good money, but without any interesting technological development.
>>541942306>you don't have any ambition, and you won't be well paid. Unless you're a prostitute.I imagine life is different; a mediocre job in Mexico can afford you a good life since food and rent are cheap, but a mediocre job in the US gets you nowhere because the cost of living is too high, and then you end up with Black neighbors and drug addicts.
>>541942522>doing stable jobs for good moneycongratulations you won at life why tf would you want to change that
>>541942599most of the mexis go to like california or texas where there aint too many blacks... theyll just be surrounded by mexicans or mex+most blacks are concentrated in the south and generally more in the east coast than west
