Volkswagen internal document (leaked, prepared with Boston Consulting Group) describes a severe crisis situation. Leadership uses sinking-ship language: "The Titanic has already hit the iceberg, water is flooding in." The company is not bankrupt yet but its old business model is completely broken. Margins have fallen to 2.8%, China profits collapsed, Chinese cars remove German ones from markets around the world and costs run 20% higher than competitors due to replacing cheap Russian pipe gas with a democratic one from USrael. The turnaround plan is severe: at least 100,000 job cuts overall up to 2030, four German plants (Emden, Zwickau, Hanover, Neckarsulm) set to lose vehicle production.

https://www.n-tv.de/wirtschaft/Weitere-rund-50-000-Jobs-sollen-bei-VW-wegfallen-id31267751.html

Volkswagens supervisory board just approved a major transformation plan that includes cutting around 50,000 more positions worldwide (on top of the 50,000 already underway).

https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/volkswagen-supervisory-board-approves-transformation-plan-2026-09-03/

In 2023, Volkswagen apprentices in Wolfsburg built three emergency huts (Notfallhütten) on the VW plant grounds as a new accomodation for growing number of niggers and shitskins in the country...

I love how this was the straw that broke VW's back. But when i tell people that we need peace with Russia, and that the US is just acting selfishly, Germans get all autistic. They blame China or Russia or the Turks. They are incapable of understanding how important peace in Europe is.

Joke's on them, I'm not dependent on the automotive sector. They can't break the US conditioning, it's hilarious.

AfD is the only party that wants lasting peace with Russia. They are also hardcore neolibearlists. The only non socialist party in hellhole Germany.

They are the only ones capable of fixing the industry, because they don't give a fuck about worker's rights, vacation time, working hours- all the socialist crap that caused this mess in the first place.

They would even thorugh out anyone unemployed that isn't paying net taxes. Meanwhile Merz is buying his seat by giving printed money to the elderly.

If anyone can turn industry around, it's the AfD

Letting VW collapse would not spare BMW or Mercedes. All three face the same structural crisis: collapsing China sales, fierce Chinese EV rivals, high German costs, and weak margins.BMW: Q2 profit -35%, China deliveries -30%, margins guided to 1-3%. Cutting 8,000 jobs via severance and reviewing long-protected practices.

I thought Germans were woke on the American Question because of that "Amerika" song I kept hearing in the 2000s. I read that their TV kept making fun of Bush and criticizing the the US' wars. Was this not as significant as I had assumed? Or did it get reversed somehow?
My theory is that the US actually got pissed by the derision of Germany's popular culture towards them and they invested in more social engineering for their favorite vassal. There may have been two decades of extra-strength propaganda (let's call it enhanced inculcation) and it actually worked. Now Germany is fucked and won't even begin to unfuck itself until it's too late.

The problem with that interpretation is that China would be eating your lunch (regarding exports) either way. That's the one thing German leadership isn't in denial of at this point. The Chinese car market was already showing this trend way back in 2018 and it was obvious it was coming to the rest of the world.
And obviously, this was already happening just prior to the "actual" start of the Ukraine war in 2022. All while Germany had completely failed in both growth markets customers were interested in: EVs (as much as people make fun of them they do at least have a market) and computerization of the car (with consumers loving all the fancy features Chinese cars have added, but hating the absurd subscription for heated seats model of BMW for example).
But like you said, it is the straw that breaks the camels back.

Anti-Americanism re: work culture is part of the problem here. The German automakers still viable plants….in red state (union free) America
>>
>>541962726
Recent analyses identify high energy prices (post-Russian gas cutoff) and surging Chinese competition as the two dominant drivers of the German auto industrys crisis. Chinese EV makers undercut German costs by 20-30%, erode market share in China (sales drops of 20-30% for VW/BMW/Mercedes), and capture 10% of Europes market now (the share rapidly rises). Elevated energy costs permanently raise German production expenses, compounding the competitive gap. These factors explain most of the profit collapse, capacity cuts, and job losses, far outweighing tariffs or regulation alone.

Not unless Germans start to fucking work again like everyone else on earth. The amount of work that a full time employee in Germany is doing is laughable.

We have all the technology. What we are lacking is resources, that's where China will always have an edge.

However, if China Russia and Europe could start working together peacefully, as one economic zone, everyone would benefit. The US knows this, that's why they try to fuck up everything from Kabul to Mossul. The Ukraine war was very welcome to them as well, since now we have to buy their overpriced LNG just to survive in winter.

What I don't understand is how reckless European leadership is.
It's basic economics to diversify your supply on anything. The fact that Europe refused to frack in the north sea, bring Turkey and Azerbaijan into the gas pipeline network and get oil from Nigeria (all while of course still using Russian gas) gave so much leverage over you.
What serious country operates this way? Let alone trans-national union? Literal African countries try to make better choices.

their problem is that if they let the stock drop further they open themselves up for a takeover as VW did to others in the past. This is something they want to prevent at all cost so the manager class is doing what it usually does balance the sheets.
Makes no sense if you think about the greater economic implications but thats how the west has been ruled for decades now.
The majority of the German people don't seem to care. Oh they love to complain and shit their pants but they keep spouting the same narrative as the tv nowadays making weapons is seen as the solution not realizing that making weapons without capturing new lebensraum is just a economic black hole.
>>541962843
I do not doubt that lack of cheap gas is a issue however I think its the other factors such as high interest rates that are fucking VW over otherwise we wouldn't be getting +100 new data centers build in Germany. There is a scheme whereby you buy a supply of gas for your business which you then trade on the market. Its something thats exists purely on the sheets its nothing real but thats how the renewable energy stuff works. I suspect the car industry wants to sell their share and make a neat profit off the boom.

And the idea that China has resources is hilarious. They import all the raw resources from Africa and Australia. They're more energy insecure than even Europe when you consider their massive population.
Even something as simple as iron, 70% of it comes from abroad. Oil is like this too.
>>
Maybe they should try doing what made them popular and building rock solid machines at a reasonable price for that sort of quality. You could even sacrifice easy serviceablity and acess to internals and charge a premium for imports so people know it's actual german engineering offset the higher overhead costs of producing locally or something. No. That'd be silly. That would never work. It need to have features, bells and whistles, a metric fuck ton of electronic points of failure. That's what the consumer REALLY wants. It has nothing to do with having engineers now who don't actually know how to design mechanical systems like that and are dependent on electronics to get the machine to do what they want after 20 years of pushing in that direction and hiring people who learned to do specifically that.
>>
>>541963033
Every current issue we have in the west is everything is too expensive. In the past prices would lower to compensate. That isn't happening anymore. Our economy today is nothing but kike tricks. Kike tricks to keep us under employed (AI, Indians, DEI hiring) and kike tricks to make us spend more money we don't have. Doritos lost billions because they thought retards would buy their garbage for $7. I remember reading they would lower prices. Today I was in the grocery show and saw them at $3 but they significantly cut the amount of chips by half. I don't buy that garbage but it was disgusting to see and you are a retard if you don't see this shit. Fast food is dying and you see these CEOs suggest everything but reducing prices. We have a really sick system which people in charge who think they are above everyone else.
>>

There are Chinese interested in those factories. They are already involved in Spain building a new one (MG, Galicia) plus another 4 projects in existing factories of other groups that will make cars with them.

It'll happen the same in Germany. There won't be a Detroit situation.

The problem of German cars is less people want to buy them, not so much the energy thing.
>>
>>541963093
China is far more energy-secure than Europe tjo. China now sources 83% of its total energy domestically (mainly coal + rapid renewables/nuclear/hydro). Self-sufficiency rate stands at 84%, one of top highest in the world. It is the worlds top coal producer and largely self-sufficient in coal (the backbone of its power system). Domestic gas output has risen sharply, renewables and nuclear are expanding faster than anywhere else, cutting oil demand via EVs. Oil import dependence remains high (around 60%), but is buffered by massive strategic reserves (months of supply), diversified suppliers (including land pipelines from Russia), and falling oil intensity due to electrification.

Europe sources only 50% of its energy domestically. Production of oil, gas and coal is at historic lows, overall import dependence often exceeds 60% (Germany 75%). After losing cheap Russian pipeline gas, it relies on costlier LNG and remains highly exposed to global price shocks and supply disruptions.

China also operates the worlds largest navy by ship numbers (370+ battle-force vessels, far ahead of any European navy or even the combined European fleets in scale). This gives it unique capacity to protect key sea lanes if required, something Europe cannot match with its fragmented much smaller naval forces

>>
>>541963292
>>Production of oil, gas and coal is at historic lows, overall import dependence often exceeds 60% (Germany 75%)
From what I found, this statistic includes other European countries though. As you mentioned in the prior sentence. It looks like its around 40% truly "foreign" energy (non EU) imports for Germany from what I've found. Granted that counts Frances nuclear.
Secondly,
Before Germany shut down their nuclear program, it generated almost 30% of their electricity needs. Considering today, they only meet about 40% of electricity demand domestically, they would actually be somewhat close to China had they not destroyed their plants.
And finally, what exactly has been stopping Europe from building out a navy besides their own blindness? America has literally been begging them to do for decades. To the point it was putting it's own planes on British carriers because the Brits though it was more important to spend on elfcare.
How can you call anything sabotage after making this series of decisions for DECADES. You even point out another thing China did regarding it's energy, it DIVERSIFIED it's sources. Which Europe for some reason didn't understand to do?

VW is bloated and pays its workers too much to be competitive.

Kill all russians.
>>
>>541964870
all these big companies tend to believe that inefficiency is not an issue because they are too big to fail and the state will bail them out endlessly to try and preserve those jobs.
they don't really seem to understand that they eventually become too big to bail out. you cannot endlessly cover up their mistakes with tax money because that fucks you in the ass twice - once by keeping people employed at companies that are not efficient, thus robbing you of productivity. and then by having to increase taxes on the productive companies, making it harder for them to stay productive.

the inefficiency isn't the only thing that fucked them over, but there were many other reason why they are failing that were primarily self-inflicted (plus the government fucking with the price of energy for ideological reason but VW supported that)
the transitional period will obviously suck, but VW restructuring is necessary.

NEW: German industrial bosses want workers back to 40 hours a week without extra pay — effectively a 13% cut in hourly labor costs.

The 35-hour week in metals and auto was won by IG Metall after a seven-week strike in 1984 and has been the norm since 1995.

Now with German manufacturing over 15% below its 2017 peak, labor costs at €49.50 an hour (47% above the EU average), and VW considering plant closures, executives at Mercedes-Benz, Stihl, and others are openly calling the old deal unaffordable.

Chinese firms never copied German EVs (which always lagged behind Chinese ones). Chinese makers (BYD, CATL, XPeng, NIO and others) pioneered cost-effective LFP batteries, vertical integration, software-defined vehicles and rapid development cycles that left German ICE specialists far behind. It is acyually Germans now that actively seek Chinese tech: VW invested in XPeng for smart platforms and software, partners with CATL/Gotion for batteries, shifts R&D to China for speed and features amid lack of talents/engineers in Germany. Audi and others use Chinese platforms. Tables have turned xD

https://ifr.org/img/worldrobotics/Executive_Summary_WR_2025_Industrial_Robots.pdf

2026 data wasnt released yet, but estimates say about half million of Chinese robots a year.

China holds the largest operational stock (>2 million) and leads industrial AI via 30,000+ smart factories, dominant WEF Lighthouse sites, rising domestic suppliers, and national AI + Manufacturing”/embodied-AI strategies integrating AI into robots at scale. Germany is decades behind.

The problem with Germans is they don't seem to grasp (must be the 'tism) that most of Europe either despises them (France) or outright hates them (Spain, Italy, Greece). They spent the past twenty years strutting around with their massive superiority complex, but now the tables have turned and their three biggest bets (car industry, russian gas, wind power) have backfired spectacularly, to be compounded of course by an explosion of the shitskin population which will make the problem exponentially worse in the upcoming years as we have seen in France.

>>
>>541967056
China fields the worlds largest navy by hull with dense A2/AD missiles, submarines, and expanding carriers enabling strong regional sea denial near vital routes (South/East China Seas, approaches to Malacca). This raises the cost of any distant blockade and supports protection of core economic sea lanes closer to home, even if full global blue-water control is still maturing.

It is actually US Navy struggling now due to emergence of cheap precise long range drones/missiles that even small actors can make now. Recently, Irans asymmetric "mosquito fleet" of fast boats, drones, and missiles has effectively blocked the Strait of Hormuz. Diesel electric is the current meta but no one actually wants to produce them because the point of the exercise isn't to have an actual solution but to offload the bulk materials that are mined and stored (nickel, cobalt, lithium, etc) that comes with mining other more valuable resources which have just been sitting around for generations costing mining companies money to store. Then when you add the tax-breaks and other subsidies that prop up ev vehicle production whats the point of innovating energy storage/green tech when customers would then demand the better solution that isnt as "profitable"?
>>
>>541968338
>Cars are to expensive

Only for the bankrupt, and deindustrialized money-printers like the West. Chinas industrial edge, massive scale, complete supply chains, and a vast engineering talent pool slash production costs radically for domestic market. Government programs, over $230 billion in subsidies, purchase tax exemptions, trade‑in rebates and the "NEV go‑to‑countryside" initiative - offer top EV models priced ¥30,000-¥80,000 ($4,200-$11,200). Low electricity and maintenance costs further fuel total ownership. Consequently, China has led global NEV sales for 11 straight years, with EVs now more affordable than gasoline cars, achieving the worlds highest sales volume and per‑capita affordability for working‑class families.

Really Volkswagen's key problem is their brands are lame outside of Lamborghini which is minuscule. People want flashy shit that's instagrammable when they buy a car, otherwise they will just go for the cheapest option aka China or Dacia.
Audi dropped the ball, for some reason shitskins don't like them like BMW or Mercedes, they feel like dentist cars.
Volkswagen is neither cool nor cheap, its market niche is nonexistent. Whoever buys one of their cars does it out of inertia or ignorance since there's always a better option. All other issues are fixable, but this one is unsurmountable.
BMW and Mercedes will survive IF they stop making shit designs. Volkswagen is gone. No amount of cost saving will make a German worker cost-competitive with a Chinese one.

Here's a roadmap for VW:
>go to the archives at the main HQ
>search blueprints for 1990's cars
>update them here and there mildly
>make the cars rock solid, no digital bullshit
>sell them with a punchline:
>WILL LAST FROM FATHER TO SON
>price them so that everyone can afford one
>make spare parts in abundance

A simple, functional car that actually is built to last. Only knobs for the driver, no digital interface whatsoever. No phone home bullshit, in fact no computer diagnostics at all.
Hence you cut down the manufacturing expenses and fill the markets with vehicles people actually want these days, when everybody is suffering from digital fatigue. Make them comfy, as they used to be.

As simple as.
>>
>>541978370
Impossible. The EU GSR legally requires modern electronic driver aids like AEB, LKA, and event data recorders in all new cars. Furthermore, strict Euro standards make purely mechanical, computer-free engines illegal because vehicles must feature digital ECU and standardized on-board Dldiagnostics to continuously monitor real-time emissions. Additionally, UN cybersecurity rules mandate a certified digital software architecture for all new vehicle registrations. Without all these required digital controls and active safety systems, the EU would refuse type approval and ban the cars from sales entirely. xD

China didn't tell their companies to follow environmental guidelines. When China wants to build a factory, they just build it. Volkswagen can see the problem on the horizon but literally cannot act. It also doesn't make sense why Chinese cars are cheaper than homebuilt ones other than shitty laws increasing production costs.
>>
dont care for VW shit

a fucking VW Polo with 3 cylinders and Indian tier build quality costs 20k €, it costs like 3k € to produce that shitbox

fuck you German faggots, you robbed us for way way too long
>>
>>541984706
This article from a German car magazine says that the energy portion of the production cost is between 300 and 1200 €:
> Demnach lag der Energiekostenanteil pro Fahrzeug in Europa im Jahr 2022 bei etwa 800 Euro, im nächsten Jahr könnte er auf bis zu 1200 Euro steigen. Im Jahr 2021 waren pro Fahrzeug im Durchschnitt nur 300 Euro angefallen.

It’s only a tiny fraction of the cost and irrelevant.
You are trying to district from the real issue VW has.

VW can do what they want too. Remember the Abgasskandal? They simply ignored environmental regulations and built in software to detect a measurement cycle to sell dirty cars. And what did the government do? Nothing.

Chinese cars are cheaper because labor costs in china are cheaper and people have less worker protections. VW would need to lay people off and automate more to become leaner.

cars are appliances now, partly because of EVs and partly because all artistry has been regulated out of cars. there's no sense in buying an ICE car, just get an EV and I doubt the chinese EVs are that much worse since they're all sourcing the same batteries. "made in china" is kind of meaningless since covid because everyone learned everything is made in china even if companies claim they aren't.

Europe was doing really well with gas generation
its very reliable, it allows you to rapidly change output and the gas was cheap
nuclear sometimes take days to change output, so there have to be a plenty of either coal or gas stations to stabilize output. Also nuclear is not really reliable as you might think, EU had to shutdown some of its nuclear generation because the heat cut off cooling water supply. And to shut down nuclear reactor and then restore to previous output would take 2+2 days if conditions are perfect.
Coal generation shares most qualities of gas but it doesnt pass eco laws EU signed

I have an 06 VW. Super over engineered. Dumb things like cams built in for replacing the headlights. The cams run gears and you use a special tool to spin them to they lock in. The plastic housing broke the first time I replaced the headlights. Cheap plastic everywhere. Stupid harness connectors that require you to squeeze then push together then pull apart, making it almost impossible to disconnect certain harness wires like the hall sensor because you need to somehow get two hands in the small space.
Beautiful engine. Amazingly capable. But just overengineered everywhere and cheap plastic crap everywhere. The interior pleather and leather is just rotted. All the buttons the labels are worn off. It's like they spent more money figuring out how to make cheap tacky plastic shit that would fail early. Got a truck from the 70's, all the knobs work fine and labels on them are still clear and the armests and shit aren't rotted apart.

It's an allegory for the EU. overengineered by committee to solve old problems that didn't exist and create new problems and designs which require specialized tools for no fucking reason.

They deserve to fail.

Africa? fully booked by China. France already fully occupied there with US style regime change just to kick China out (tons of FFL spooks sabotaging the chinks there), and there are more new dealings with nigs & chinks created faster than France (and EU) tried to dismantle.

South America? rightfully US clay. EU-Mercosur dealing was s a slowpoke: when Brussels thinking for an idea, US already reached final steps of bilateral agreement.

South East Asia? China, Japan, South Korea playground. Good luck for EU diplomats trying to out race the rabid aggressive slanty negotiators.

Middle East? lol. Good luck striking a deal with muslims while fervently side with Israel. Spain is the only EU member that has guts & actually do something.

It's all just predetermined yiddish marching orders with a dog and pony pseuo-republic to keep the masses feeling like they consented to these things and give them a false sense of hope that they can ever do anything within the system to change things for the better.
It also just shows how much jews prioritize destroying White nations over anything else even if it spells out their end as well. They built up China, did absolutely nothing to even put Western nations in a position to be at a parity after weakening them, they just handed everything over and made it so when China stopped playing ball as much with jews they now can't do anything about it.
It's kind of hard to ever know how things are really going in China but they're never going to be stupid enough to have many tens of millions of 70-80 IQ nogs, arabs, and jeets over there that they prop up with massive spending/debt.
