Russian Geran-4 drones struck an aircraft at Zhulanyi Airport in Kyiv today, destroying planes (probably civilian) stored there, and igniting a large fire. The impact occurred on the airports western side. Zhulanyi has been closed to civilian flights since the war began. Meanwhile, US envoys Steve Witcoff (de facto envoy to Putin) and Jared Kushner (special envoy for peace) are scheduled to land at Boryspil Airport, east of Kyiv, on Saturday - this would mark the first foreign official flight into Ukraine since the invasion started. The strike may be a Russian signal ahead of that unprecedented visit. Additionally, the American officials presence in the capital could likely disrupt Moscows ongoing large-scale strike campaign against Kyiv that lasts 7 days in a row and will probably last permanently up to full destruction of the citys all warehouses/logistics/factories xDWhy are these two clowns still being sent to Russia/Ukraine is a mystery to me.
