What’s your excuse for not owning a home?
>>
It’s kind of a ball and chain
>>

Why would I own one? shlomo pays for mine, it's no big deal. I play vidya and worship jesus christ on his "dime".

looks sweet, but i feel like it'd bee too small to stretch out my legs when sleeping (i really like my leg room)

would be better if it was longer like the one cart one guy with the sheep has
either way, its not practical to have something like that without livestock, and if you have live stock it'd be better to have it drawn by a horse or mule (or goats/sheep/raindeer)

My excuse for owning a home is inheritance coupled with the perseverance to hang onto it. I recommend inheriting a home rather than working for one if you're the sort of personality that likes home ownership. It's still a lot of work keeping-up appearances, but I find it worthwhile. I like hosting garage sales and messing around in the yard. It's nothing too fancy, but it has both a wood stove and a fireplace... some nice trees, a detached garage, a good-sized deck from which you can see across the big lake, five bedrooms, a dedicated laundry room, and more. If anything it's maybe a bit much for a single middle-aged guy and his little dog. I imagine a lot of Gen Xers are poised to inherit.

If central banking ended, and homesteading acts returned than absolutely
Until then my home is in heaven, there is no roof to keep me here

Mortgages also make it so your own house isn't yours the majority of the time you live in it, which gives the bank (jew)power over you, much how like allowing a vampire into your house places you under his power. Pure cohencidence, I'm sure.

honestly, i'd rather sleep in a tent. much more portable.

a mortgage allows you to live in before you can pay for it
imagine if you could only buy houses once you've made the cash lol
you'd move in just in time for retirement
>>
I have a full flat with kitchen and bathroom and all in the basement of the house I grew up in, why would I pay some nigger landlord for the same thing, yes I'm aware I lucked out

So, a glorified sitting-space, a counter without any capacity for serious food-preparation and a sleeping area your prepubescent kid might maybe have enough room to sleep in?
Also what prevents this thing from tipping over when a gust of wind hits it from the side? Does it come with rear-view mirrors, or do I need to ask someone to help me back it up every time? And where do I ride it? I'd be pissing off both the cars AND the cyclists, even in the Netherlands.

Id rather have the comfort of knowing some wagie like you had to be at beck and call to fix shit I break without having to pay anything additionally.
Not like home "owners" own their home anyway. The state does. You just have the added privilege of footing ALL the upkeep.
Sucker.

If everyone has guns does that make guns useless? What happens in a scenario were the perpetrator and the victim are both shot and die at the same time, who won? The dead thief or the dead guy who wanted to stop the thief?

I carry bear spray in my truck cuz murder is a sin.

they only last at most 20 years before they turn to shit. It's a massive loss economically, but they're cheap so maybe not that massive. Alternatively just move to an old steel town with no work and you can get something 3x the size for half the cost, in town.

You sleep standing up? Only a midget could lay down in that.
>>
>>542063253
Insanely inflated market that has seen ni funamental demand growth for decades, ergo a bubble.

It's literally more profitable to rent cheaply and let the owner tank the imminent hit.
>>
>>542068850

i live in one. it's fine for a single person or a really tight couple. that's it.

try to get one that has no appliances so you can choose your own. a lot of them come with shitty or undersized ovens, fridges, etc.

also, you will need an outbuilding for secure storage.
>>
>>542070205
I'm looking at a manufactured home neighborhood that allows you to build an attached garage.

Finance inflates everything to the moon because people lose price sensitivity when the bank has a zero percent reserve requirement and a mandate to buy 20% above asking.

Everything that gets financed this happens, houses, cars, healthcare, anything. Take away finance and prices begin to reflect scarcity not print rates

Rent is to coerce labour its not supply and demand. For example if land was at free market prices eventually you hit a spot where land is $1 or even free. You cant find this anywhere without fine print that amounts to a house price by other means
>>
>>542063253
But I do own one. I don’t understand the question
>>
>>542063253
that can only work in cold areas
>>
>>542066540
More like, i go to campsites, i should do more of that though, campsites are getting retardly high in rent too
>>
>>542070268

the attached garage will sort your storage issues. the manufactured homes are tight. i have a small chest freezer in the "kitchen" area but i still need a large chest freezer that's stored in the shed.

i can't emphasize enough the lack of interior space in these things. they are cheap to build and heat because they are so small. they're roomier than a large 5th wheel but not by much.
>>
>>542070590
I'm looking at the roughly 1300 to 1500 square foot range. It's enough for me honestly and the finishes are pretty nice and modern now.
>>
>>542070639

mine is about 1000 sq/f

im renting it (cheap employer provided rent) but plan to buy one for myself for land i already own. its a shame my land and my employment are so far away from each other.

i can attest to the build quality. they are so much better than the old mobile homes. i think its a good buy. go for it!
>>
>>542070764
I would do that too if the land near me wasn't so fucking expensive. The representative said it'd be more expensive to move the house than it would be to sell it and buy a new one on land. I'd love to move it if I get one but I guess I'd just buy a new one.

I do not see a problem with this
you can get a cheap lola girl from Romania
and you can roll into a country like the UK where you can grab as many jackets from Oxfam as you like
then you can drive all the way home to Romania and sell them at the market
comfy living
