Albania, according to certain studies, has an average IQ of around 81. This makes it the country with the lowest IQ in all of Europe. What caused this? Are these numbers reliable? If this is true this would mean third world countries like Cuba (Avg:85) have a higher average than Albania, this seems shocking.

I'm Albanian. My IQ is in the 130s. I was in the gifted program since I was in the first grade. AP, Mathletes, National Honor Society, the works. In college most of my classmates were Asian or Indian and in group projects I was usually the one leading because the Asians thought I was some kind of prodigy and the Indians were amazed that I could speak articulately and teach them things that weren't on the study guides. I don't get along well with other Albanians. For example I think Kosovo belongs to Serbia because the only example of an Ottoman sultan dying in battle happened there, and the Serbs have much more cultural ties to the land than Albanians. For this I'm considered something of a traitor and most Albanians hate me for it. Albania under Hoxha was genuinely one of the worst countries in the world and it stunted people very effectively into Stalinism, the IQ dropped because of the stubbornness innate in all Albanians.My favorite people are Orthodox theologians who I've met in Greece and Serbia, people that have studied the Bible for years and years and have gotten master's over it. They are interesting to talk to and have curious perspectives.
