But even then, American participation in the general election was only like 60-odd percent, and turnout for midterms is famously even lower. So you have to imagine that even if these illegals were voting illegally, then some smaller portion than Americans themselves were voting. Now, this diminishing subset of deported illegals has to be locally significant. Those illegals who did vote have to have voted in states with small margins. Solid red and solid blue states are unlikely to have been skewed. But the problem is that most of these deportations are from solid red states cooperating with ICE. So it's not like their elections are going to change much. The biggest problem is that there has been no good evidence that illegals actually do vote in any number. Anyway, Republicans are pretty fucked in this election and I'm excited to see dems start investigations into Trump and make it public. Cheers.
