Pic rel. These two French lads made a revolutionary game which simulates urban and trench combat.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bodycam_(video_game)
So far it’s achieved so much hype that people often say it’s a PTSD simulator
https://youtu.be/2GdRyatht4E

It’s pretty impressive that they did this. Your turn
>>
thats bullshit what they said about papaya water on the radio. im watching that fucking show every day and here they go talking shit about payayas and water like nigga what the fuck is your problem
>>
>>542106411
I have no idea what this about
I am too un-French to get this reference
>>
>>542106306
The only thing crazy about this is that major game developers spend a billion dollars and 3000 people working to produce something that's not even 10% as good.
>>
>>542106306
>developing a video game is now considered "greatness"
wow, standards have fallen
>>
>>542106306
That game is just an excuse to upload Ukrainian war footage to YouTube and say it's from a game.
The fact they had to make it that realistic to draw attention is telling.
It's only a matter of time before people are so desensitized to war that there's gonna be actual TV stations dedicated to showing first person footage of people getting murdered.

Yeah by the age of 5 I was.
>>
>>542106306
I created modern college classrooms in 5th grade

Ok, what about the Backrooms movie then?
Kane made the concept back when he was 16

Qrd?
>>
>>542106306
why do I have no interest in playing this type of game now that I'm older??
>>
>>542106306
I've seen some clips of this and for a few seconds I thought it was real

Not politics

> making a video game is considered greatness now
>>
>>542106623
Yeah and what did you ever develop? Nothing. Suck the piss out of the tip of my cock you nigger.
>>
>>542107045
It takes work and technical skill
Getting people together, etc
>>
>>542106306
>Have any anons here ever achieved greatness at an early age?
I used to chat with @nasa.gov addresses on usenet and give them programming tips when I was a teenager.
Achieving greatness at an early age has been castrated since those days.
>>
>>542106306
When I was a teen all the Internet had is gatekeeping, selling scams and pedo boomers.

It's easy now. When you 14 with these types of tools and info available you can get into programming and get rich.

Old people can't fucking learn programming or anything.

>>542106623
not even developing a video game just stapling together UE5 garbage
at least they didn't spend 40 billion on it
>>
>>542107324
>not even developing a video game just stapling together UE5 garbage
Those are the same thing now.
That's the whole problem.
>>
>>542106306
I hate to break it to you but FPSes already exist
>>
>>542107638
What makes the others the same as this one?
>>
>>542107638
This one actually puts the effort into realism though. It's how FPS games should have looked at least ten years ago.
>>
>>542107811
all game types have existed since the 90s. the graphics are the only thing that "improve"
>>
>>542107811
>>542107848
its just Call of Duty without a UI and a blur shader to make it look "more realistic", I'll be impressed if they actually finish it though, polishing a game is fucking hard work
>>
>>542107976
Why couldn't Call of Duty do it then?
>>
Is the game from the view of a body cam because that's not very realistic
>>
>>542108055
No because the effect doesn't appeal to the majority of gamers and studios always try to appeal to the lowest common denominator, the closest you will get is "hardcore" mode which is still very gamey.
>>
Thats cool but I made a hyperrealistic pinball machine, which has the advantage of actually letting users get on their feet and move around.
>>
>>542108129
It looks more “GoPro” to me
I saw some clips
They also have FPV drone stuff
>>
>>542108255
Qrd? I wanna see it
>>
>>542108365
Its sort of like this but with really photorealistic graphics.

Ok, I will wait
>>
>>542108214
When I'm comparing the newest Call of Duty to Bodycam, Call of Duty just doesn't look good in comparison, it still looks like something you'd expect from an older generation console. I mean people are kind of hyped up about Bodycam for a reason, it actually looks good, like an actual step up in entertainment quality.

Looks fun
The most I ever did was write this political war story when I was in highschool on some website
I had like 6 people follow each and every chapter consistently
It was fun. Had to end on a cliffhanger since i had things going on
>then the site got DDOSed, I forgot why. It wasn’t even a bad site
>>
>>542107055
>meltie
My critique is not what they made (good on them), but of classifying this as "achieving greatness".
It's not.
