Using public transit in the United States really makes you appreciate Russia and Asia. What a shame that we've given up on basic societal standards.

Public transport will never work because people live on schedules but busses, trains, planes, etc. don't. I have to take family members to doctors appointments and always have to wait at least an hour past the scheduled time until they are actually called back to a room, and another 45 minutes until they actually see the doctor. As well compensated as doctors are they struggle with telling time. Do you really think some wagie transportation operator not even making $500,000 a year is going to do a better job at reading a clock? Doctors go to school for ten years and still can't figure it out. They only work eight hours of the day and they always miss by ~95 minutes.Also America has brown people making up roughly half the population. Even if they could stick to a schedule I wouldn't use it because of this.
