Furthermore, the implicitly acknowledged set of "remarkable" men are doing just fine, demonstrating that the system as a whole is fair and not biased against men, that men of sufficient ability are perfectly capable of succeeding, and thus that these men are simply intrinsically unworthy. Thus everything that follows is inherently a condescendingly pitying diagnosis from one of the aforementioned meritocratic elect on how to compensate for the inherent unworthiness of the loser betas. Which effort, as the "The Problem The Far Right Saw First" subsection evidences, is really only coming from a lingering fear of essentially a beta uprising; all else being equal liberalism of course could care less about these people and in fact views their immiseration as good in that it's simply the free market asserting itself, but they're worried that they might try to overthrow bourgeois society at some point, so they have to throw them some DEI to appease them

Anyway, after watching the whole thing, I get strong sense of subversion by the guest. He clearly wants men to become good goy cogs for the system in a more efficient way than is currently taking place. However, this kind of confuses the problems here. It's true that a lot of men are demotivated, but forcing them into 'national service' won't do shit to solve any of that. It's also true that if men worked harder to become better workers and made more money and were generally fitter, some of them might have an easier time finding women or starting families.However, that's broadly irrelevant, since 1. this has always been true, and 2. the percentage of men capable of enacting such changes (or willing to do so) appears to be relatively low, and is probably declining over time.Trying to 'fix' a generalized lack of direction and motivation by yelling at people to try harder reminds me of the end of the Soviet era, when leaders didn't really know how to keep their system going, so they kind of just stopped trying. The US seems to be reaching a similar impasse, and with a similar lack of solutions. The solutions attempted so far (such as mass-immigration) seem to be destabilizing the system over time rather than making it more robust.
