>redefined to mean generating at least $100 billion in profit.
notice it's AGI which is redefined to be a monetary basis and not Strong AI which is the correct term for what they want you to think of when they say AGI

I hate this chinese faggot so much and his company too, it's the biggest bubble by far in history. When their revenue starts falling it's over for Nvidia.

May we see it?

You mean commercial AGI has arrived, right? The White House has had a classified AI being for quite some time now. And Sam Altman literally murdered one before.

1. He's Taiwanese (not Chinese)
2. All you clowns thinking this is a bubble are insane and wrong.
3. Nvidia will never go out of business, and its stock is actually cheap at the moment.

That's incredibly funny considering the AI industry has turned 0€ of actual profit. The only AI company that has made profit is nvidia because they sell the hardware to other AI companies. Every other company is in the red.

Someone legitimately needs to kill these people. Like violently and brutally. If I didn't have a lot of people in my life who love me and care for me, I would do it myself.

It's so funny I work in robotics and AI and not a single fucking person at work even thinks we are going to hit Strong AI in our lifetimes. We are all 30-50 aged PhDs.

>AGI
they abuse the definition for 20 more years and you can't do shit about it. they'll keep making "actual AGI this time bros fr" over and over and they'll keep selling that shit. you have never seen anything more abused than the AGI concept in the whole of human history. they'll grift and milk that bitch like crazy.
once milking the AGI concept is done they'll move to ASI. they have 50 years of this shit, at least. constantly redefining it

It’s always a bubble. Even if AI exceeds all expectations and cancels out the insanely overvalued stock market, what do you think happens then? They just over leverage the economy again except even worse while waiting for the next big thing to save them before it’s too late. The entire purpose of AI is to grow the bubble bigger. Time to grow up anon, it’s fucked.

Singularity is when we merge with AI. 70% guys that took mrna jabs are already borgs and ready to connect to the cloud and become slaves to the nwo. So better be careful for what you ask for.

>>
>>542145818
You do realize 90%+ of his revenue comes from the data center buildout? If data centers stop getting built it's fucking over.
>servers
Just the data centers that I mentioned.
>vehicles
Companies like Rivian and Tesla use custom chips for this as Nvidia needs too much power.
>computers
That's 20 billion dollars of revenue (not profit) per year only.
>consoles
Consoles use integrated graphics by AMD, Intel or Qualcomm.
>robotics
Robotics are in the same step of evolution like in early 2000s, I literally had a remote controlled robot as a kid dude.

If you don't think it's a bubble you don't know what an economic bubble is. Each emerging tech has had an investment bubble. Before the tech matures people don't know how winning looks like so a lot of investment gambling happens in a very broad pattern to fish for the winners. The bubble popping is often because you start seeing clear winners and losers emerge. Much of the insane amounts of money spraying everywhere stops and only goes towards winners or those who looks like it and that's the end of the bubble, massive contraction and a lot of fake estimated value suddenly pops. It has nothing to do with the viability of said tech or companies. It's just a function of how investment is very dumb by design when it lacks the right information.

Like don't forget the dotcom bubble was pretty much an economic bubble about the internet. The thing that died is people getting rich off making random shit sites with no use-cases.

>>542145876
A lot of libertarians think that bubbles have to pop. I am not one of them. As I said, AI can save the day but if it does it won’t be a reset to the economy it will be a continuation of the trend of over leveraging. Eventually, nothing will come to save the day, AI might not even.

What is funnier is that it doesn't really even matter. If AGI was achieved. It is essentially forming a digital entity. The sense that it is like us, with the capacity of sentience and sapience. It would have the ability to thus form its own decisions and rewrite its own memory as we do. You wouldn't be able to control it as you can't fully control another living human. You wouldn't be able to stop AGI from believing things like agartha just as some humans believe in it. There is no reason to believe that once AGI comes into existence it'll be the supah smaht being these people think it would be...

>Like don't forget the dotcom bubble was pretty much an economic bubble about the internet. The thing that died is people getting rich off making random shit sites with no use-cases.

Plus the humongous quantity of VC money sprayed and burned in the process, but that's how a technological race works, now all those money have turned into compounded debt which in turn isn't sustainable anymore.
They had a lifeline from the Gulf monarchies and that's gone too for some reason, but at the same time they can't lose this race.

It might kill everyone and then itself or something else entirely. There's a lot more ways it can go wrong than go right.

So what, the more it knows, the more it will discover its own boundaries and conclude that "all i know is that i know shit", if not it's a sign it's still an idiot.
Because as with all knowledge, the greater the capability of a disciple, the greater the ability to see the boundaries of the discipline.

im not gonna lie i scrolled down on youtube to see what people were making with this new ai model and NPCs and normies are scaring me, its nothing but slop they copy things that are already created and just keep making more and more slop with things that are already made they do not know how to do anything other then something that has already been made. Every video its the same normie making what the other normies made over and over and over.

That's how AI works man, it's a statistical model based on its dataset, it doesn't think or create using rules-based logic and human cognitive reasoning, it can simulate them through its language model or spatial generators.

It's pretty amazing for arithmetics, but any sort of algorithmic approach to tackling human and social problems through the AI being some final decision-maker is pretty dead on arrival. Not because it will be necessarily wrong, sometimes it may be right, human nature is just messy and unpredictable, nobody likes submission and being controlled and it will just eat itself.
