What are you currently studying, autodidactic polymath geniuses?I'm learning french, geometry, experimenting in number theory, dabbling in literature and writing, reading history (with a particular focus on Eric Hobsbawm's masterful publications and Max Gallo's wonderful history of WW2 (in french)), reading The Irish Constitution (Bunreacht na hÉireann) which I am finding quite interesting in that it is a charter of my rights and the blueprint for the functioning of the law which I am (albeit nonconsensually) beholden to (though I give my tacit consent by being politically unengaged), and I am learning to play the recorder.
I'm too burnt out to take on new information currently and am just a useless sack of shit for now.

I don't understand what you're "experimenting" with, like you're trying to decide if you're bisexual or not. You sound like an undisciplined dilettante flitting between things. You stare at a subject and think you'd like to learn it, but don't put in the years of work to understand it. You enjoy telling people you're learning "French and number theory". You have a million books you have never finished. This is, ironically, what 90% of college grads do. You're pic related, but think you're Will Hunting.You're going to waste your life. Pick a course of study and master it.

I never went in for the video game analogy (though I considered solipsism (until I came across Wittgenstein's private language problem) which could also fit with the video game analogy if reality is a single player "game"), and then I went for less grounded, almost "artistic" ways to frame the question. What if reality is a song? An inherited piece of music we are given the agency over without being able to rewrite what was previously "sung". Could be. Could be a dream. Even more abstractly, could be a metaphor. Well, no God means no meaning of life, but God has always been here and always will be because we just renamed Him. We use ontological terminology to describe the fundamental essence of reality. We haven't even changed our definition of God, we've just changed the language we describe Him with. I think life eminently shows that reality has a moral structure to it. The atomised units of experience could well be moral decision. With a fundamental, objective moral code, comes God necessarily. What is this God and I'm curious as to not only how I relate to it, but what that relationship actually means. Jesus spoke in parables. It seems the foundation of western civilisation is predicated on moral and metaphor.
