>>542156436The Bible
bump
This book is funny and there is a profound line in it that goes something like "Men's lives are written on sand, waiting for the wind to blow it away" it's part of series that is OK and its a tie in to Warhammer Fantasy Battles but I think tourists could still enjoy it. The audiobook has Jonathan Keeble voice-act 6 six different ratmen in one chapter and that's a hoot. It's pulpy but it's my favorite fantasy novel
I can also second Eckert I have Wilderness Empire and it's pretty interesting. There are a lot of source documents on Indian relations like Fanny Kelly's My Captivity Among the Indians was interesting especially the beginning on how the Indians fooled the naive settlers

>>542156436The Bobiverse series are great. Story goes>Humanity's about to end itself as religious factions are about to Nuke each other>Factions transfer consciousness from humans to Von-Neumann probes>Self-replicating probes colonize the galaxy, while warring with the probes of other factions>Every copy is somehow different due to quantum effects and develop completely unique psychesShit was breddy entertaining
