When did hip-hop stop being the center of youth culture?

did young people simply stop wanting to rebel? Now it feels like youth culture has become much more fragmented and less openly rebellious. Do they want to be just tamed pet cats?

>Rebelling
It ain't punk, it ain't metal, it ain't even rock.
The only thing hiphop ever rebelled against was common sense.

I know what the true counterculture is. It's not a thing yet though but it's going to take over.
Free market gubbins don't worry not communism.

I am genuinely relieved that I don't hear shitty nigger music bumping in every car anymore. People really have cut down on listening to that garbage

Anyways, it's crypto-wages. Imagine if memecoins weren't single issue, but instead paid out to-the-second to whoever applied to them.

It's ID-locked for sybil protection though.

They never really did, that whole "rebel" thing is a LARP for teenagers. They grew up and moved on.

it wasn't always white mumble rap and trap, granted a lot of rap that glorified ie drug dealing pimping and so on was hardly rebellious but before that it was simply a form of storytelling of the America few non-African Americans got to see

also hiphop was musically rebellious from basically its early beginnings until the mid to late-1990s at least, from sampling to turntablism to beatmaking production there was always innovation going on

that all changed when it gradually got turned into a subset of pop music, of course
>>
>>542167870
Rap music didn't completely take over the maintream until the late 2000s-early 2010s after a concerted effort to arrange its happening starting in the late 90s and early 2000s. The rock bands in the 2000s weren't themselves psyops in the way the rappers coming up were, especially eminem who was used to bait and soften Whites to rap music through cultural familiarity. Once eminem became a star, it paved the way for black rappers to go mainstream and thats when you started seeing pop stars do songs with rappers. It was the Lil Wayne, Drake, Niki Manaj crew "Young Money" that became the party and rebellion music of a generation late in the 2000s and early 2010s. I witnessed it.

it was good when you were an edgy teenager. it is in fact just porch monkeys ranting over a cassette loop

>Be a black hip hop artist
>don’t realize 80percent of your income comes from teenage white kids
>rap about killing yt because they suck
>lose 80percent of your revenue

Why are hip hop artist like this?

Nigger music was never good, it was always a bunch of art school FAGGOTS posturing as le hard gangsta men.
If you listen to that shit you are unirobically nigger brained and should be shot in the head.

Calm down Hans grüber
Nobody asked for Britney any more than we asked for tupac to be all over the radio, we were just young and didn't know much better. Nobody stuck with it once they heard actual music

Dunno. I've been out of the pop culture zeitgeist since grunge faded into obscurity. From a cursory google search, kpop, country and rock / metal from the early 1990's on back are the highest selling music at the moment. Probably just part of the greater nigger fatigue we've seen across the globe, regardless of culture.

>rap

a minor expression of negrification of the americans soul, a mirror of sorts. Orange man is the culmination of this transfiguration.

Youve effectively become the nigger
>>
>>542167870
Current rap became commercials for fent and crack. Their fans are busy folded over sucking cock for dope.
>>
>>542167870
Without listing pol points, it might be just (or also) hiphop fatigue and over saturation, of "dem beatz" and overall black culture. When corporations and adults get too familiar with something cultural, kids and teens inevitably will try and make something else.
Not looking that good so far for alphas in that regard.

>>
>>542167870
It's still very very popular with young people and probably always will be by this point now. It's just weird that they removed it without replacing it with some other cultural movement. That has not happened since the music industry become a money printer. It's worrying, like they're waiting for another big domino to fall before ushering in a media fueled, socio-cultural movement. The hippy movement, disco, hair metal, rap and r&b, ???.

becasee the american project is finished; the country is being dismantled

The Economy, Hollywood, the Music industry, Gaming etc any aspect of cultural expression is being dismantled and/or being used as a vector for a manufactured culture war to further demoralize.

No

The USAID is "MAGA", "Fascism", and the "Alt right" nonsense; thats the psyop. Culture was dismantled to give these slugs a pedestal.

Thats why youre still obsessed with niggers because youre reactionaries like females so can only exist on relation to others .
You have nothing to show for besides insecurity
>>
>>542167870
I can tell you dont know enything about hiphop, as the people around you.
