One of the best things I ever got to help get a nice work/life balance was an Aperture Portal Gun. I've got it set up with a portal open in the stationery cupboard at work - to which only I've got the keys... and on one of the walls in my downstairs toilet... which I don't use that much. So commute time for me? Literally zero seconds if I count being in my dowstairs toilet as being in my house... which I do.Before I got the gun, I used to get the metro, and there were two changes... it used to take 35 to 40 mins each way every day.
