Execution is still better because it’s cheaper and actually allows for retribution for the victims, but being in a psych ward for criminally insane people is at least something.The problem with Lindsay being found not guilty is if she goes to a psych ward, she will likely be released in a few short years. Because she’s conveniently claiming temporary insanity, due to childbirth and raising kids. Well, she won’t be having anymore kids or ever raising them again, she’s seen to that. So by definition, once her instigating factor is removed, she’s conveniently no longer “crazy”. Well, at least until menopause. If they take her story of hormones causing mental health problems at face value, they need to lock her up at least until that whole process is over.
