Switzerland is enormously overrated. That said, Appalachia is at its best unremarkable. There are like 4 good towns and the landscape is nice but not breathtaking or anything.

Switzerland is whiter, richer, safer, more beautiful, and has some of the best infrastructure in the world. Only downside is that it's more expensive. This shouldn't even be a question. Our goal should be to turn Appalachia INTO Switzerland.
