You might be able to drive them into a bunker while an air strike is being carried out on a runway, then deploy them across a damaged runway. How easy is it to get a plane on top of them? Presumably the rearmost truck can deploy a ramp, but can planes independently taxi up them? Would they need to be towed? Are the trucks completely interchangeable? Or do they come in specific back, middle, and front configurations and you always need one plus spares of each? Can they assist a plane in landing? That last seems least likely, and would be a major factor in deployment.
