I only got a marine riot 870 for heavy rifled slug in grizzly territory. I have a nice lite and boring AR for home defense. Some might knock it, but all it has is a tac light and a Mepro tritium front sight post on the A-frame. Just a little finicky to sight in, but bomb proof and it's no batteries and always on.
