Whats stopping America from landing boots on the ground and taking Iraq and Iran right now though?
>>542212475because that wouldnt let them continue manipulating the markets
Iraq was a flat plain in a desert. Iran is a highly mountainous region that would take millions of troops to conquer. It'd be much easier to just nuke Israel.
small potatoes
The US Army generally does not fight countries like Iran using on the ground soldiers. Instead the US army acts like terrorists basically, they have more expensive equipment and just fuck over the country and unleash hell with rockets, destroying everything in their wake. This is probably part of the reason why Iran has called the US the great satan. Can you really blame them?>Whats stoppingA lot of things, but mainly what I said above and common sense.>taking Iraq and IranYou have no clue how diplomacy works, do you?
their military is a fucking jokethey care more about teaching them to become homoerotic sadomasochists than they to care about making them combat ready
>>542212475We really enjoy the premium we get from being the worlds only reliable large supplier of oil and gas, and the demand destruction that the mid east is experiencing for their oil products is juicing the American economy. Iran is behaving exactly like we want them to. Why would Trump change that?
>>542212657>You have no clue how diplomacy works, do you?Yeah I do. You show up with gunboats and them blast them to bits and they do whatever you want. You have 11 carriers and the most powerful and lethal military in the world. Just take Iran. This is like the Wehrmacht choosing to siege Leningrad instead of just taking it.
>>542212769That is terrorism
>>542212683Yeah you can literally just take Iran's oil like you took Venezuela's but for some reason you're all just sitting around not doing it. Literally no one could stop you.
>>542212826Its terrorism if you are muslim.
>>542212853It is terrorism regardless of who you are, and it is wrong.
>>542212475Not being willing to commit the Gaza style genocide required to secure it properly. We don't have the chosen's genocide privilege. If you don't have the will and authority to kill or subjugate sandniggers they will just smile and plant IED's fucking everywhere until you leave. It's not that we couldn't steamroll Iran. It's that we're not allowed to just murder every goatfucker that could pick up a shovel or carry a rifle after we do and then we have to live with them. And that's what the kikes want, but they already way overplayed that card this generation.
>>542212915>we're not allowed toBy who?
>>542212946Geneva Conventions
>>542212972I wasn't aware Geneva has 11 carriers and thousands of nuclear warheads.
>>542213003No, but there is a chain of command in the US Army.
>>542212769>Gun boatsIn the mountains?
>>542213133B-2 Spirits.
>>542213047>No, but there is a chain of command in the US Army.So Trump is refusing to end this war? What the fuck? What is he playing at?
>>542213421I feel the best thing he could do in this situation is give Iran reparations, unconditionally surrender, and this might be helpful: https://boardofpeace.org/gaza-roadmap
>>542213604Trump can literally give the command and they can win the war overnight.
They would probably lose if they tried invading Iraq today,
>>542213717Israel would also be damaged
>>542213717Why would he though, keeping the status quo means everyone buys their oil from the USA.
>>542212475USA was completely BTFO of Afghanistan by some medieval goat fuckers.
>>542212475the will to powerhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYYWWRlki3I
>>542212475You'd need like 2 million soldiers, the US has only 400k
>>542213975Iran also has a territorial advantage. The terrain is rocky, the country is massive. Iran is not a small country. It is enormous. It is not a tiny island nation, it has a history as an empire.
>>542212475All the people living there, the terrain, and our other geopolitical interests. It is theoretically possible for the US to successfully invade Iran. But it would be ludicrously expensive in American lives and material and require such intense committment as to cede the rest of the world. And then we wouldn't be able to hold it anyway.Doing Afghanistan again, but worse, just to lose Taiwan to China would not be a winning move.
>>542214153I'm wondering if this is not already another Afghanistan situation. Remember: Afghanistan went on for 20 fucking years, then Biden managed to finally end it (Thank you, Joe BIden) and then Trump gets in because a bunch of people were manipulated, well, some of them were at least. There definitely were some people who voted for him out of genuine hatred for minorities. But a lot of people voted for him on the hope of cheaper groceries... which... I don't know why anyone would fucking trust Donald Trump, the guy lies quite a lot. And for the person who stalks me: There really is no irony to be found in this at all. You know I have always been a largely honest person.
>>542212475We don't have enough soldiers to invade Iran. It would take an Army of like 1 million soldiers and that would require a draft which would be political suicide for the Republican party. This war is already more unpopular than the Vietnam war. We also don't have the element of surprise anymore. The Iraq invasion had a 6 month long buildup. Iran also still has missiles and drones and would strike our staging areas and the only places we can invade through are through marshes and mountain chokepoints.
