>An AI data center in Denver may be violating state drought restrictions by watering its lawn.
>Concerns were raised by the resident, who notes that Denver's Board of Water Commissioners implemented stage one drought restrictions in March amid record-high dry conditions, according to a board resolution. The city of Denver is currently battling "severe drought" as its watershed faces "severe to exceptional drought" conditions, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor.
>Now, the city's approximately 1.5 million customers can only water their lawns on two days per week between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., based on their address, which the board said was critical to conserving "dwindling reservoirs," The Colorado Sun reports.
>Beginning Oct. 1, a state ban will take effect, prohibiting all Colorado residents from using lawn sprinklers until Spring 2027.

less water lost to evaporation
and that's not too shabby

in my county we're only able to water one day a week and so my grass is dying. the day restrictions are over I'll be sent an HOA letter to fix my dead grass.

That's right commie. Water is for corporate property, if you dont like it build your own well.

What's the fine if you water your garden anyway?
>>
>>542229137
The restrictions only apply to residential. They should talk to their representatives if this angers them.

>Drought
>You must water your lawn only during daylight hours
Idiocracy reigns supreme
>>
>>542229137
I bet the restrictions apply to residential use and not business use. I dont care enough to look.
>>
Why does a data center need a lawn to maintain? Just put down concrete and a few canopies or something so it doesn't become a frying pan in the summer, let the rest of the grass go as nature intends.
