What will people do now that all jobs, digital and physical will be taken over by AI and robotics in the next coming years?

Robots being able to do things is irrelevant, the question is if it's economically viable to buy them

Asmongold says AI will definitely lead to jobless dystopia then he just changes the subject. What EXACTLY will happen when half the current workforce is displaced? Maybe this should be it's own thread.
>>
>>542233950
Thats probably a realistic timeline at this point
>>
>>542234711
Itll probably not be as much of a dystopia. Uhi and ubi for all

That money HAS to come from the people still working. Half the population being unemployed means the supply of workers doubles which means the pay for remaining jobs goes down. It's easy to imagine a situation where a worker is taking home just barely more money (or probably even less) than the unemployed. Why would anybody work? How does society continue to function in that scenario?

I don't think AI or Robots will make everyone jobless. AI and Robots, can't be born, go to school, pay taxes, go to jail, pay court fees, take out high interest loans, create capital, be married, have kids, buy food, can't shit, can't shower, buy insurance, get divorced rape, age, use medication, use media, buy services for a lifetime, drive, own assets, then die.

Our society is so nickled and dimed by middlemen that run the world now I don't think they would want to replace us, fearing they will lose their nest egg. I think they will be more a tool for business to sell each other to create higher stock returns. Sex robots on the other hand might destroy the traditional marriage.
>>
>>542236013
AI is already about to replace half the workforce and that's before robots are even viable.

It's too late it's here.

They have the capability on the GPT and Claude servers. They just won't roll it out until they have more political support. But the capability is here now.

If we and by we I mean me and you buddy. Don't get off our asses now and protest for regulations we are going to be destitute in 10 years

That bathroom was already cleaned by a human for this dumb video. No publc bathroom is that spottless that it only needs a quick spray.

Factory- and warehouse logistics jobs have already been automated for the most part, thats nothing new. LLM is just going to do the same for white collar jobs now, where the most braindead tasks get handed over to a digital robot.

Robots still can't do complex tasks or outside work, because letting expensive robots be at the mercy of outside climate is more expensive than a forklift driver.

if the proles cannot incentivise the state to keep helping them, then eventually a group of politicians (or even revolutinaries) will decide to reduce the help, either out of greed or because of some disaster
