Sapporo beer for Japan is likely still brewed in Japan, Sapporo beer for the US and Canada will be brewed in the US instead of Canada. Avoiding the tarrif on goods made in Canada for shit they are gonna sell in the US in way larger quantity is the only sane choice unless they want to lose money.

White/silver Sapporo is unironically one of the best, if not the best, lager I have ever tried desu. So far I was able to buy it only once so I dunno if it was exceptionally good batch or they're consistently that good
