They've figured out who actually has the power and controls and sways the economy.after the cognitive stratification of western civilization based on academic credentials and intellectual superiority -- the tech autists and science nerds and financebros sit atop of the hierarchy in their elite and segragated institiutions and universities changing the world, as well as controlling the market and economy. this group also happens to be overwhelmingly leftist and progressive, pro-lgbt and cultural diversity, etc. but they are slowly being converted to the radical right. They've found a way to reconcile those leftist poltiical leanings and make it into the face of their ethnonationalist, anti-immigration, traditionalist agenda, and the elites are realizing it's not incongruent to their interests at all -- being a a high SES, ethnically and culturallly segregated group, white nationalism is a baby step. what they actually care about and is more relevant to their interests are the feminist and gay rights (the advocates and members of which are already largely white), and by by sporting support or an implicit promise of non-interferrance with their already establish rights, because it does not interferre with their meritocratic goals, (while diversity does), they send out a clear message: "we do not care about your gender or your sexuality, we care about your economic output and your acadmic credentials how you are able to further the interests of this country." they massively appeal and attract the support of their targetted groups, and both groups are already intersecting more and more.The gays and women are more and more rising to poltiical power and working for the right-wing and it is no coincidence. it is both a testimony to where these demographics' interests and leaning are starting to lean, and a strategic positioning and defense to draw in and signal to the new educated generation who to vote for.
