UK literally just sanctioned and boycotted Israel along with 10 other countries

The interesting thing is that American media is completely silent on this despite this being a huge deal
Nothing on NYT
Nothing on WAPO
Nothing on WSJ

Why?

Only the Israeli settlements?

Because it is literally just westbank products, explicitly not Israel.
And those things they need are excempt already anyway, because cutting yourself off of Israeli tech just as you made /try to make enemies out of China, Russia, Iran, the USA and just about everybody else is too dumb even for the UK & co.

West Bank gets funding from Israel.
If sanctions are classic sanctions, this means entire Israel economy could be under sanctions. You can't construct a house in West Bank without a loan from an Israeli bank for example.

The UK sanctions target financial services, which is a radical step. Especially given London is the seat of world capital.

The fact that all jews online are kvetching about this makes it also quite unusual

First seeing then believing, after all Israel would hardly be interested in facilitating such transparancy.

Russia has been defying sanctions for over a decade now, often via truvially easy measure like pumping oil into a new ship. Israel is even better connected and has yet more powerful friends, it seems futile to even begin to try.

After all with the Russian sanctions it is American might that makes them mean anything, i would expect it to the same here.
So like Russian oil becoming Indian or Greek oil i expect Israeli products to become, i dunno, maybe they'll be so brazen as to market them as "Palestinian products", pretending the Palestinians themselves made them.

That's the thing with all these symbolic actions, no thought for the practical implementation, implication or consequences thereof.

All this stuff with Argentina and Israel feels like the Jews trying to bait the UK gov into hurrying up with spending more on military and defence for the impending war

Doesn't seem like the UK needs any proddibg to that end, if anything it seems they are making fun of its sanctimonious attitude while being in the process of collapsing thanks to that exact attitude.

The US is about to dive balls deep into a war with Iran. They got bigger fish to fry.

Problem with that is they haven't got any money, woke dei has destroyed the military institutions to a point that they are practically useless and unable to reconfigure themselves back into a fighting force, and most importantly nobody wants war except a few metrosexual Londonites of the (((british union))). Very few give 2 shits about jewkraine and a large number if so openly support Russia, middle east arab wars are not our problem and nobody is seriously going to send their sons to die defending the Falklands.

The only way this could have been avoided is if a visual military had defended our borders, but obviously the opposite happened, so if they wanted the UK involved in any wars, the globohomo really dropped the ball there.

Who's being sanctimonious regarding what?
