Some parts of Africa have the most fertile soil on Earth, but they require $150B of food imports each year. The local people have no concept of planting crops, waiting and harvesting. A western NGO brings them farm equipment and they break it or sell it. The 'good' of the Western world has created an unsustainable system. They feed them, they have 6 kids and can only accept handouts. If the world goes into a worldwide recession, there may not be the excess food from countries that finds it way to Africa.Unfortunately in their quest to make whitey pay for years of perceived racism, they removed all of the farmers that were feeding them. The West has stepped in to cover the shortfall, but this means an outside source has to keep this running or millions of Afrikaners will starve. Many of their tribes are nomadic, so they bring their herd to an area and let them graze until the area is completely eaten and move on. This then makes the soil turn to sand and no longer able to grow. People has tried to educate them on sustainable systems so the land is not destroyed, but it is the way they have always done it.
