IT'S NOT STOPPINGYOU ASSURED ME IT WOULD STOP. I WAS ASSURED OF THIS.
Don't worry, soon the hyperinflation will solve all the debt. They just need to print the money to do it. Only 2 more weeks surely, after all there's no reason to question the narrative.

It can no longer come down anon. They are buying shorter term debt to cycle the 30yr debt and stop the yield rising. There is only one direction for all debt now. Hyperinflation will come when they can no longer sell debt (you are here) and they start only printing with no new debt sold. Every dollar they put into circulation without the offset debt will devalue the currency.

Debt TitanicThe economic problem is, the new administration has not (and likely can not) achieve the projected 6 or 7 percent annual GDP growth rate overall for the U.S. economy<--that would *just barely* keep the government ahead of rapidly rising Interest Payments on the ever-increasing debti.e. doesn't solve the gigaballooning debt issueFedgov spending is the problem, which no U.S. Congress—they control the spending purse strings, not the president—of the past few decades is interested in solving. (and what is going on rn economic/financial is globally dire)
>>542286677>paid backchecked, Not how any of this worksThis isn't solely about 'fate of the U.S.' or its Treasury. Bonds are supposed to remain predictable steady stable and reliable: *especially* in a global hundreds-of-trillions$$$$$ system that is founded and based on debt. The base fabric of 21st century Earth human economics, all of it is disintegrating before our eyes rn. >>542286677It's getting paid back through theft of purchasing power, aka money printing. Asset price will continue to go up, your saving will buy less and less.
>>542287855It’s been happening since January 2025. As you pointed out it’s happening in short-term bond purchases which helps overall. The problem is right now it only represents about 200 billion treasuries. It needs to accelerate to trillions of dollars in order to be meaningful. This is the main currency competition between China’s gold backed eyuan in the USD stablecoins. China wants to control the currency, where the US is exporting decentralized dollars backed by treasuries. Entire world is going to have to be reprogrammed off of USD in order for that to change.
>>542290566sir...a second trump term has hit the white house
>>542290915I honestly do not see China taking the same system just with tokenized gold. Jeets and chinks are notorious scammers. He's not a globalist in terms of national policy (i.e. he actually advocates for America in contrast to for example Mnuchin or Yellin) but the problem today is : this global debt and possibly incoming currency crisis, goes way, way beyond 'America first' or just solely alone the fate of the United States. I wonder if Bessent has weighed, pondered or thought about this, the unique peril of the present moment.Bessent can't 'save' us (and by us, I'm not just referring to America: all nations on Earth) he can only buy time. >>542286048Stablecoins aren't going to solve the core problem of nobody buying the debt.
>>542291780The Chinese are not taking the same system. The difference is the Chinese system is backed by gold and the amount of currency that’s produced regulated by the Chinese government. The new changes with the US government are unregulated decentralized production of USD tokenized currency not controlled by the government exported on crypto rails that back USD stablecoins with treasuries. This has been common place for the past 5+ years to deal with inflation locals will take their money like for example in Iran and put them in USD stablecoins. This makes USD stable coin adoption a new purchaser us debt. It’s not working yet but if adoption continues to expand it could be a significant purchaser us debt through treasuries. This isn’t going to solve the problem but it kicks the can down the road.
>>542297673See >>542297753. It is definitely introducing a new market to purchase US debt. It depends on adoption to properly work to delay delay the collapse and the basement of the USD as a reserve currency.

>>542297878Wrong, none of that (is even analogous or) will ever work.>This isn’t going to solve the problem but it kicks the can down the roadEven (You) admit it.Anyway, the root of the problem is fedgov spending >>542293564 >>542286379
4.5% just seems absurdly low with the level of instability globally and the extreme political recklessness in the US. Who would lend to the Donald Trump's America at 4.5% locking up your money for 10 years? Madness.
>>542285587This is where things are going. Trump's cult have no savings anyway would be fine for them. Rich people in the US are mostly in stocks/assets so also fine for them. Mostly bag-holding foreigners that would get screwed hence everyone with half a sense getting out of dollars.
