I think before we reach the technological singularity, we will first have to pass through the bitterness singularity. Everyone is so angry and doomer minded these days. It will be a weird time in history when we have a new scientific and technological revolution that does wonderful amazing things and yet everyone feels nothing but hate and rage at it all. If AI kills us all, it will be to put us out of our misery desu.
